Taking the Porsche 935/78 “Moby Dick” out for a Race at Spa Francorchamps – Video

Racing a whale-tailed classic.

The Porsche 935 was the legendary racing version of the 911 Turbo. The third generation of the car, named the 935/78, was given the nickname “Moby Dick” after its white color and gigantic whale-sized tail that generated tremendous amounts of downforce.

At the Spa Francorchamps Classic Endurance Race, the Porsche “Moby Dick” raced against other vintage-era racers. Behind the wheel of the Porsche 935 was Stephane Ortelli. While it may not have reached 235 mph as the car did in the past on the Le Mans straightaway, it still did give others some friendly competition.
