Sex sells – for $2.76 million.
It’s been a week since the new Lamborghini Aventador J was unveiled and the one-off Italian roadster has already been sold for $2.76 million. Only one was, and will ever be made according to Lamborghini, so you’re chances of seeing one in person are incredibly slim.
But don’t worry, Lamborghini has given us a new Aventador J video detailing the pride, passion, and character that was put into the car as it was designed and built.
For those of you that have been living under a rock since the start of the 82nd Geneva Motor Show, the Lamborghini Aventador J is a 690 horsepower, all-wheel drive, roofless Aventador variant with a unique open-cockpit design, downforce-inducing aerodynamic body work, and a small windscreen. Only one was ever made and went to a lucky buyer with a $2.76 million price tag. We’re just left with an Aventador J video and pictures to admire until we save up enough money to buy it from the current owner. We’re going to need a bigger piggy bank!
