Watch A Ferrari F40 Spit Flames and Burn Rubber in 1987 – Video

Enzo would be proud…

The Ferrari F40 is undoubtedly one of the best cars that the Italian automaker has ever made. A mid-mounted 2.9-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 with 471 horsepower mated to a five-speed manual, and a curb weight of only 2,400 lbs.? Sounds like a formula for success!

Former Ferrari Formula One driver, Michele Alboreto, took to the wheel of the Ferrari F40 in 1987 to show what the car is capable of – spectacular performance. The car was driven by Alboreto around Italy and shown to the public as they gathered in amazement. The entire video is in Italian, but you don’t need to know a lick of the Romantic language to enjoy this film. Plus, there’s a cat in it!
