Tweaking the 3.0 TFSI for more excitement.

The new supercharged, thupercharged, tuperchaged, or turborchaged (whatever that “T” in 3.0 T means) has been steadily becoming Audi’s bread and butter engine alongside it’s famous 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. The forced induction that the 3.0 TFSI V-6 utilizes makes it a prime candidate for extracting more power through basic engine upgrades and that’s exactly what SKN Tuning has tapped into with their new upgrade program.

SKN has unveiled a new 3.0 TFSI tuning program for all models that the engine is used in ranging from the S4 to the A8. Each variant of the engine can be upgraded with two or three different power stages with different  3.0 TFSI tuning ECU upgrades and modifications, and can be optioned with a range of Milltek Sport exhaust systems.

Installed as in: Audi S4 (8K) / Audi S5 (8T) / A8 (D4, 4H) / Q7 (4L)
STAGE 1 = +46 kW / 62 hp and 30 lb-ft. / 41 NM for 1990, – € (end power = 290 kW / 395 hp and 355 lb-ft. / 481 NM)
STAGE 2 = +76 kW / 103 hp and 46 lb-ft. / 63 NM for 2490, – € (end power = 321 kW / 436 hp and 371 lb-ft. / 503 NM)

3.0 TFSI engine with factory output 228 kW / 310 hp and 325 lb-ft. / 440 Nm
Installed as in: Audi A6 (C7) / A7 Sportback (4G) / A8 (D4, 4H)
STAGE 1 = +46 kW / 62 hp and 30 lb-ft. / 41 NM for 1990, – € (end power = 274 kW / 372 hp and 355 lb-ft. / 481 NM)
