The Bugatti Gangloff Design Concept by Paweł Czyżewski

A classic take on a modern super car.

One of the most iconic Bugatti models ever produced was the 1938 Type 37 SC Atalante Coupe. It’s smooth, flowing lines and rounded figure is legendary and nothing short of a classic. Polish Designer Paweł Czyżewski has taken these vintage design cues and style and applied it to a new Bugatti super car design concept that’s radically different and distinctly classic.

The Designer took inspiration specifically from the 1938 Type 37 SC Atalante Coupe fashioned by French coach-builder Gangloff that features unique aspects such as chrome strakes, kinked fenders with different headlights, and a longer rear. “In times of commercial trash and plastic it is hard to see something that has a soul and is able to squeeze out a positive mark on the heart,” says Czyżewski.

The new Bugatti Gangloff Design Concept brings many elements and overall design language from the current Bugatti Veyron with touches from the Atalante Coupe. The shape of the concept is sleek and low, with rounded front and rear fenders and blade-shaped air intakes with LED lights. A classic spine design element runs from the front grille, across the roof, and to the rear, creating a split window that calls back to the Type 57 SC Atlantic models.

The interior of the design concept is a take on the modern Bugatti Veyron cockpit but with an updated and modern appearance. The dashboard and center console flows alongside the driver to the rear and rippled stitching designs create the illusion of speed and dynamics.
