Friday FAIL: Let’s Walk in Front of Sebastian Loeb!

Pikes Peak Pinheads.

Deer are terrible creatures, especially when you’re driving. These animals seem to be some of the least intelligent four-legged mammals that ever walked this earth. They are attracted to vehicles, oftentimes going out of their way to run in front of one while it is moving. You know, because the best way to evade and escape something that scares the living heck out of you is to run directly into its path. Makes sense, right?

Well, we have a new kind of creature that seems to be even less intelligent than our moronic four-legged friends of the forest on this week’s Friday FAIL – humans!

The 2013 Pikes Peak International Hillclimb saw Sebastian Loeb and his Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak racer shatter the record with an astonishing 8:13.878 time. But, that almost never happened thanks to some idiots that thought it would be a great idea to cross the road in the middle of his run.

Now, this would’ve been devastating in a number of ways. First, we’d have at least one person dead due to the speed that Loeb was traveling during his run. If he had been going a bit faster, he could’ve hit at least one person, lost control, and hit more spectators. It also would’ve caused the governing body of the race to reassess their safety regulations and change where spectators can stand and walk. It would’ve prevented Loeb and Peugeot from setting a new record; one that they spent countless hours and money trying to achieve. The emotional trauma resulting from that accident for Loeb and other spectators would’ve been incredibly awful to live with as well.

Don’t be stupid, people. Deer are stupid. Don’t be deer because real bad things can happen, especially at races. Big FAIL on you, idiots that crossed the road.

On a scale of 1-10, how stupid were these spectators that decided to cross the road during a race?
