Drop the top and hit the boost.

The S64B40 naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter V-8 engine beneath the hood of the E93 BMW M3 is a high-revving box of fun, right from the factory. LEIB Engineering wanted to squeeze even more excitement out of it so they enlisted the help of their friends at G-Power for their SK II CS supercharger system featuring a belt-driven ASA T1-523 supercharger. In addition to feeding all eight cylinders with some extra boost, LEIB Engineering installed an additional fuel pump system, high-performance fuel injector nozzles, colder motorsports spark plugs, and a carbon fiber/stainless steel air system with larger air filters along with a new software tune for the ECU. Belting out a thundering sound is an in-house stainless steel exhaust system with dual 100-cell HJS catalytic converters and adjustable valves controlled by the M-button on the steering wheel.

In all, the supercharger system and other engine upgrades equate to an output of 610 horsepower and 435 lb-ft. of torque for the E93 BMW M3 Cabriolet.

LEIB Engineering left the bodywork and styling completely stock on the M3 and decided to focus on what’s beneath the sheetmetal, instead. The factory electronic shock absorber system offers even better performance thanks to a new KW DDC coilover kit that can be electronically controlled and adjusted by the drive. The lone visual upgrade is a new set of Y-spoke alloy wheels from the BMW 1-Series M Coupe that measure 9.0 x 19 up front and 10.0 x 19 at the rear for a clean, OEM look.

All of the upgrades featured on the E93 BMW M3 Cabriolet can be installed on all E9X-generation models of the BMW M3 and are currently available from LEIB Engineering.
