The 2014 Geneva International Motor Show is going to be a place where automakers from all over the world gather to show off their latest and greatest in an effort to cordially one-up each other. This year, there’s going to be a car there that’s so incredibly insane, that it’s going to steal the show with ease.
It’s called the Koenigsegg One:1. It may have a bit of an odd name at first glance, but once you understand that it refers to the power-to-weight ratio the new hypercar has, it all makes sense. The new One:1 will have a 1,400-horsepower output and 1,400 kg weight. Let that just sink in for a second; one-thousand-and-four-hundred horsepower powering a vehicle that weighs 1,400 kg (3,086 lbs.). That’s absolutely nuts.
Get ready, because things are about to get crazy in Geneva come March.
