A Jaguar with some American claws.
Hennessey Performance may be known for their skills when it comes to creating and tuning high-performance American sports cars, but there are also quite a few unexpected programs in their arsenal for foreign cars. They’ve upgraded Ferraris, Bentleys, Porsches, McLarens, and more. The company’s General Manager had their eye on the Jaguar XFR-S and that was quickly added to the vast array of packages with the HPE650 program.
The supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine powering the Jaguar XFR-S and its aerodynamically-honed OEM body work is already pumped up quite a bit thanks to the factory engineers. Hennessey Performance was able to unleash even more fury thanks to their HPE650 program with modifications such as an HPE air induction modification, ECU tune, and some time on the dynometer.
That bumps the 500 horsepower, 550 lb-ft. of torque output in stock form all the way up to 650 bhp at 6,300 RPM. The extra output is more than enough to drop the factory 4.4-second 0-60 mph time down a tad and fully exploit the factory-tuned aerodynamics, brakes, and stiffer suspension on the track.
The featured Hennessey Performance HPE650 Jaguar XFR-S Serial Number 1 is currently available as a complete car for $99,995 with 6,557 miles on the clock.
