Watch this Lamborghini Aventador Light Itself on Fire

Aventador Fire

When flame-spitting goes wrong.

Italian supercars have always had a tendency to combust into flames and burn themselves to the ground. For some reason, supercars from this part of the world are just more flammable, and that refers to their on-track performance as well.

We all love when exhausts spit flames to show off their power and performance. Even from the factory, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 spits out a hot blue and orange glow from its centrally-mounted exhaust. This Aventador in London was armed with an aftermarket exhaust that shoots out even more fire and that got it in a bit of trouble one night.

While trying to show off by revving at a standstill, the Aventador’s flame-spitting exhaust lit some components on fire behind the rear paneling.

So, how do you put these flames out? Drive away, of course!

Would driving to 200 mph be able to put out this Aventador’s fire?
