Zero to 100 in the blink of an eye.
We all knew that the factory Audi S8 was a really fast car. Its potent 4.0 TFSI engine and all-wheel drive system make for some serious acceleration. But, the limited MTM S8 Talladega is even faster and more powerful thanks to the good old fashioned tuning.
MTM was able to give the super sedan a total of 760 horsepower at 5,900 RPM and 670 lb-ft. of torque from 1,700 to 5,500 RPM with its range of upgrades and estimated a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 3.48 seconds.
Well, it appears as though they were just a tad bit conservative with their acceleration numbers. Armed with an MTM S8 Talladega, AutoTopNL was able to do some testing of their own.
They found that the car can hit 100 km/h from rest in just 3.0 seconds, flat (4.1 seconds, stock); 150 km/h (93 mph) in 5.4 seconds; 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 9.2 ticks of the clock; and 250 km/h (155 mph) in only 14.8 seconds. Top speed is and electronically-limited 325 km/h (202 mph). Those are supercar numbers, folks.
