All the right things for the W205.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205) combines it all from sport and luxury to elegance and power. Now, Brabus is taking all of those aspects one step further with the new C-Class models ranging from new bodywork to wheels and a full ranging of engine tuning for gasoline- and diesel-sipping variants and the standard, Avantgarde, Exclusive, and AMG Line models.

The featured vehicle to showcase all of the fun stuff from Brabus is a C-Class Estate with the AMG Line package wearing new aerodynamic components made from OEM-quality PUR. A new front spoiler with a central spoiler blade is flanked by two flap-style components that reduce lift at the front axle. At the rear, a new diffuser-look bumper insert adds a more athletic look and perfectly integrates the quad chrome-plated tailpipes on the Brabus sports exhaust system. Both upgrades are available on the sedan and wagon versions.

Also part of the exterior transformation with the new C-Class models is the line of new Brabus Monoblock wheels in a variety of designs and 18-, 19-, and 20-inch diameters. The featured Brabus C-Class sports a set of Monoblock F cross-spoke wheels measuring 8.5J x 20 up front and 9.5J x 20 at the rear with a black finish and titanium-colored stripes. These are paired up with either Continental, Pirelli, or Yokohama tires in a 225/35 ZR20 front and 255/30 ZR20 rear setup.

But that was only part of the story; Brabus gave the Mercedes-Benz C-Class a better stance with new suspension upgrades. The C-Class can be equipped with a new set of sport springs co-developed with Bilstein to take advantage of the low-profile tires, and reduce ride height by 30 mm. For even greater handling dynamics, Brabus coilovers with an adjustable ride height are also available with ten-stage compression and rebound rates. Models that are equipped with the Airmatic air suspension can benefit from a Brabus control module that allows drivers to lower the ride height.

Where the fun really begins is the range of engine tuning options from Brabus. Both gasoline and diesel models can benefit from the Brabus tuning modules and their three-year/62,000-mile warranty. Each module is designed to activate only when the engine reaches optimum operating temperature and does not affect longevity.

For the gasoline engines, the Brabus PowerXtra B25.2 is the auxiliary tuning module of choice. The plug-and-play system increase power by 34 bhp and 37 lb-ft. for a total of 241 bhp and 295 lb-ft. of torque. This equates to a 0-62 mph sprint of just 6.5 seconds and 155 mph tip speed. For the turbocharged C 180 and C 200 models, the Brabus PowerXtra B18.2 and B20.2 modules add 21 bhp and 37 lb-ft., and 30 bhp and 22 lb-ft., respectively.

In the turbodiesel Mercedes-Benz C 220 BlueTEC, the Brabus ECO PowerXtra D3 kit increases output by 35 bhp and 37 lb-ft. This drops the 0-62 mph acceleration time to 7.1 seconds and top speed goes to 149 mph. For the C 250 BlueTEC, the Brabus ECO PowerXtra D4 tuning pushes output to 232 bhp and 405 lb-ft. of torque to allow for a 0-62 mph time of 6.4 seconds and top speed of 155 mph.

The entire range of engines can also be paired up with a Brabus stainless-steel exhaust system with quad tailpipes for a more powerful look and sound.

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class also gets a touch of refinement from Brabus. Drivers benefit from a new set of aluminum foot pedals, 340 km/h (211 mph) speedometer, and other gauges, while new velour floor mats with the Brabus logo add exclusivity. The entire interior can be clad in a range of custom-tailored leather and/or alcantara by Brabus as well.

The full range of upgrades for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205) is currently available from Brabus for the sedan or wagon model variants.
