How much faster is a stock Aventador over a stock Huracán?

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 and Huracán LP 610-4 are two cars that have ushered in a new era for the Italian automaker, replacing the Murciélago and Gallardo, respectively. The exotics are easily in two different classes of vehicle when it comes to price, performance, and more, but their straight-line acceleration isn’t as far off as you’d expect.

The 690 horsepower Aventador with its V-12 and all-wheel drive lined up next to the Huracán and its 602 horsepower, V-10 with AWD to see just how much faster it was in a straight line.

Although the driver of the Aventador got off to a bad start, he was able to catch up to the Huracán with some effort and eventually pass him down the course.

The numbers speak for themselves: at 1,000 meters, the Aventador was flying by at 273.34 km/h in just 19.370 seconds, while the Huracán was falling behind at 264.51 km/h at 19.829 seconds.

While it’s no question that the Aventador is the king of the model lineup that Huracán isn’t as far off as you would think.
