Quit toyin’ around, guys!
A $40,000 Lamborghini Huracán might sound like a deal of the century to some gullible buyers looking for a quick, cheap, and easy way to get their hands on a “Lambo”. Those folks fell victim to quite the prank in Los Angeles.
Armed with a toy Lamborghini Gallardo, two friends took close-up pictures and posted them to craigslist. The ad, which stated the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4was for sale for the unbeatable price of $40,0000, quickly got the interest of quite a few people.
When the potential buyers arrived, they were brought over to the car only to find that it was a toy. The reactions were as you’d expect; and ranged from laughter to downright anger. One guy got so upset that he even smashed the toy car. Thankfully, they lowered their asking price on the damaged car for the next buyers.
