The Mercedes-AMG GT model range has been quite the hit on the sports car market since it was first introduced. Now, aftermarket companies such as RevoZport are unveiling upgrade programs for the athletic German coupe and we’re just enjoying the show.
Designed after the hardcore Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, the new RevoZport Mercedes-AMG GT aerodynamic upgrade package is designed to create a more imposing look while optimizing downforce. The entire kit is made from either carbon fiber for carbon Kevlar using advanced software for an OEM-quality fitment.
The RevoZport AMG GTS-RZ aerodynamic upgrade program starts with aggressive front carbon fiber canards flanking a carbon Kevlar splitter. A ventilated hood reduces heat created by the mighty 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine.
As the air runs towards the rear, it’s met by new side skirts that calm the flow around the rear wheels. Customers have a choice of two spoilers in the RevoZport AMG GTS-RZ package: a carbon fiber duckbill trunk lip or a fixed carbon fiber GT wing spoiler that generates a considerable amount of downforce. Finishing off the kit is a new carbon fiber rear diffuser that optimizes airflow flowing beneath the rear fascia.
The new RevoZport AMG GTS-RZ aerodynamic upgrade package will be available on the Mercedes-AMG GT, GT S, and GT S Edition 1 models starting in March.
