The 991 Porsche 911 Turbo S that served as the starting point for the edo competition Blackburn record-setting car had to be heavily modified to achieve the lofty goal. The twin-turbocharged flat-six engine was equipped with the company’s Stage II upgrade kit that pushes output to 669 horsepower and 649 lb-ft. of torque in Overboost. This gives it a 0-60 mph time of less than 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 212 mph.

Sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 semi-slick tires were won by the lightweight center-locking 20-inch forged wheels to allow the Blackburn to achieve maximum grip.
