Military Monster.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class can trace its roots back to the 1970s, where it was designed to be a military vehicle with off-road capabilities. Not much has changed since it was first sold as a civilian model in 1979, but the boxy beauty doesn’t need to be. This military-inspired Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG with PUR RS25 wheels and Brabus widebody kit goes back to the beginning with some serious style.
The old-school boxy shape and 4×4 powertrain layout is designed to blow through any terrain, but that twin-turbocharged V-12 hiding under the hood means that it’s not afraid to unleash the power on the asphalt either. This G65 AMG was outfitted with the full Brabus widebody kit that includes flared fenders, side steps, a set of bumpers designed with only a ruler, ventilated hood, rear spoiler, and lots more. The entire SUV is dressed in a classic Matte Military Green color similar to those used by the actual armed forces.
To match the confidence and power of the Brabus military machine, new PUR RS25 forged wheels were added. The multi-spoke mesh design works well with the old-school design language of the widebody SUV. Their forged alloy construction also means that durability is never a problem nor is rotating mass at the wheel hub.
Here, the new PUR RS25 forged wheels were installed in a mighty 10.5 x 22 fitment at the front and rear to fill in those extended fenders. A smooth Matte Black finish was also used on each wheel for that utilitarian look as well.
Although the design hasn’t changed much over the years, this widebody Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG with PUR RS25 wheels would still be the weapon of choice for many.
