The pony car wars have been raging for decades in the United States and now they’re carrying over to the European theatre with GeigerCars on the front line. Their latest upgrade program is a Chevrolet Camaro Supercharged 630 that is a burnout weapon.
The Chevrolet Camaro SS and its 6.2-liter V-8 LT1 engine was the basis for the GeigerCars conversion. To bring forth some serious power, the Germans added on a new supercharger, oil cooler, and an ECU software tune. The muscle car can also be had with the factory flap-controlled sport exhaust system to unleash its roar.
After the upgrades, the GeigerCars Chevrolet Camaro produces 630- horsepower at 6,500 RPM and 583 lb-ft. of torque at 4,700 RPM. This allows the muscle car to reach 62 mph form rest in just 3.9 seconds and hit a 190 mph top speed with the eight-speed automatic gearbox.
While the Camaro has been known for its straight-line prowess for decades, it’s become a more nimble machine as of late. To emphasize this even more GeigerCars installed a KW Variant 1 Sport suspension that works alongside the factory Magnetic Ride Control to transform the muscle car into a canyon carver.
Hitting the pavement is a new set of OZ Racing Superturismo Dakar alloy wheels. The 15-spoke, Matte Graphite-finished alloys measure 9.0 x 21 up front and 10.0 x 21 at the rear, and are shod in 255/35 ZR21 and 295/30 ZR21 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires for even more grip.
Finishing it all off is a special GeigerCars aerodynamic kit for the American sports car. The Chevrolet Camaro SS was outfitted with a new front and rear spoiler combo to generate downforce. New side skirts, a rear diffuser, and hood air inlets add a more aggressive aesthetic for the supercharged monster. As an added touch, Matte Graphite stripes run from the hood to the trunk and along the lower side valences.
The full-on upgrade package for the Chevrolet Camaro SS from GeigerCars is currently available. The entire car, which is also available as a convertible model, is available for 79,900 euros.
