Wheelsandmore Aston Martin V8 Vantage Exposed

Unleashing the baritone V-8 sound.

The German tuners at wheelsandmore have taken the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and given it a more vocal presence. The British sportscar keeps its iconic Aston Martin design, but now features a few chassis upgrades and unrestrained V-8 engine.

At the heart of the V8 Vantage is a 420 horsepower 4.7-liter with a classic Aston Martin growl. The exhaust note that makes owning an Aston Martin so special has been magnified by wheelsandmore with the installation of a valve controlled exhaust. Drivers can choose to adjust the sound level from subdued to sonorous with the touch of a button. The exhaust system also uses 200-cell sport catalytic converters to help push output to 460 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque.

The body of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage was left untouched by the German tuner. Instead, wheelsandmore decided to focus on what they do best – wheel fitments and suspension upgrades. New handcrafted 6Sporz² three-piece wheels measuring 9.0 x 21 up front and 11.0 x 21 at the rear shod in 255/30/21 front and 295/25/21 rear performance rubber. To complete the fitment, wheelsandmore turned to the suspension specialists at KW automotive. A KW variant 3 stainless steel coilover suspension with adjustable compression and rebound was installed to provide the vantage with more precise handling.

The wheelsandmore Aston Martin V8 Vantage conversion is currently available as a complete package or as separate accessories. The wheel and tire package is priced at € 9,916 (+/- 14,000 USD), while the suspension is available for € 2,939 (+/- 4,200 USD). The valve-controlled exhaust system with 200-cell catalytic converters is priced at € 6,008 (+/- 8,500 USD). All prices include installation.
