The diesel FX gets gobs of torque and a proper stance.
The Infiniti FX 30DS is a sporty luxury crossover that combines sleek styling and sporty athleticism. For Europe, the FX features a 3.0-liter turbodiesel powerplant that produces ample torque and superb fuel mileage while still retaining the sporty nature of the crossover. At AHG Sports, located at the Infiniti Center Hamburg, engineers have developed new chassis upgrades and a potent engine upgrade for even more excitement.
The Infiniti FX diesel may not be as fast as its V-8 powered counterparts, but it still provides the same athleticism and curvy styling. To give the FX tuning diesel variant a leg up on the gasoline models, AHG Sports has fitted a new wheel and tire combination along with a new suspension setup. New three-piece Schmidt Revolution CC wheels have been fitted in a wide 11 x 21 size at both the front and rear. The lightweight wheels wear new 295/40 R21 tires that provide extra grip in the corners. The stance is finished with new springs that lower the crossover by 25 mm and reduce the center of gravity.
The Infiniti specialists in Hamburg, Germany, at AHG Sports have also developed their own FX tuning program for the 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine. The stock diesel engine makes a respectable 238 horsepower and 405 lb-ft. of torque. After AHG Sports has works their magic, the V-6 makes a gutsy 280 horsepower and 442 lb-ft. of tire-smoking torque.
The AHG Sports Infiniti FX tuning program is currently available. The wheel and tire combo is available for € 7,900 (+/- 11,300 USD), while the suspension upgrade is an additional € 1,495 (+/- 2,100 USD). The FX diesel engine upgrade is priced at € 1,250 (+/- 1,700 USD).
