The Project Kahn Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY powered by Brabus

German power meets British style.

The Mercedes-Benz SLK has been considered a “chick” car because it is a small roadster wearing the iconic three-pointed star. Project Kahn has taken steps to change that stereotype with the new SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY with AMG Sport Pack powered by Brabus.

The R172 SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY is powered by an environmentally responsible 1.8-liter turbocharged inline-four. In stock form, the turbo-four isn’t nearly the most powerful engine in the SLK lineup, but after receiving an OEM power boost of 30 horses and a Brabus plug-and-play auxiliary unit for an additional 26 horses, output rises all the way to 246 horsepower. That’s enough to get this “chick” car scooting to 60 mph considerably quick.

Project Kahn also ensures that the SLK doesn’t look feminine either. A new AMG Sport Pack has been fitted and includes the full set of front and rear bumpers and side skirts for a bit of aggressiveness. The Project Kahn Mercedes SLK is then given carbon fiber front splitters, a matte black and carbon fiber-finished grille, and matte black side vents. To match the exterior color scheme, 20-inch matte black Kahn RS600 alloy wheels with hiding red calipers and a lowered suspension.

The featured Project Kahn SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY was given an interior with black and red quilted leather for added comfort and luxury. The car also comes standard with brushed aluminum roll bars and the Mercedes-Benz 7G Tronic automatic transmission.

Project Kahn is currently offering the featured SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY for the price of £42,875 (+/-67,600 USD). Customers can also choose to customize their SLK models with an array of individual interior, exterior, and engine options from Project Kahn.
