Underground Racing gives us a 1,000+ HP Twin Turbo Audi R8

Two snails and ten cylinders of fury.

Underground Racing is famous for turbocharging super cars. They’ve put pairs of snails on the Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Murciélago, and Ford GT. One of the latest to get the twin turbo treatment is the Audi R8 5.2.

The twin turbo Audi R8 is available in three different packages with power ranging from a “modest” 700 whp on 93 octane fuel to 1,500 whp on VP-C16 117 octane.

The featured turbo Audi R8 has been given a 1,000 whp upgrade and accelerates with incredible ease. If you thought the naturally aspirated 5.2-liter sounded good, wait until you hear it with two turbochargers spooling up!
