The Ferrari SA Aperta was built to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Pininfarina and limited to just 80 units – all of which are already sold. If you were lucky enough to get your hands on the convertible version of the 599, Novitec Rosso has a supercharged upgrade program that will blow your top off for good.

The V-12 engine of the SA Aperta is already more powerful than the original 599, packing 661 horses stock. But, for a true stallion, Novitec Rosso believed that it needed to have an untamed engine. The German tuning company developed a twin-supercharger system for the 6.0-liter V-12 with dedicated water circuit and larger intercooler system. The twin-mechanical supercharger system includes a custom intake manifold, larger fuel injectors, sports air filters, special exhaust manifold, and software optimization program. To reduce backpressure, Novitec Rosso installed an in-house stainless steel exhaust system with 90 mm black-coated tailpipes and butterfly valves to control the sound.

After the supercharger upgrade, the Novitec Rosso Ferrari SA Aperta can produce 888 horsepower at 8,400 RPM and 636 lb-ft. of torque at 6,600 RPM. Power is sent through the six-speed F1 sequential transmission, propelling the drop-top to 62 mph in 3.1 seconds; 124 mph in 9.1 seconds; and to 186 mph in 21.9 seconds. The top speed is also drastically increased to over 211.27 mph.

In order to handle all of the extra power produced by the supercharged V-12 engine, Novitec Rosso had to install an upgraded Ferrari suspension system and lighter wheels. A set of in-house sport springs designed to work with the factory shocks were installed and lower the ride height by 25 mm for better stability at high speeds. A new front-end lift system can also be installed to clear obstacles. New Novitec Rosso NF4 lightweight forged wheels were installed in a staggered fitment for an athletic stance. Measuring 10J x 21 at the front and 12J x 22 at the rear the five double-spoke wheels weigh in at just 22.9 lbs. and 30.4 lbs. respectively. For better grip, the front pair of wheels were fitted with 295/25 ZR 21 Pirelli PZero tires, while the rear was given 335/25 ZR 22s.

Even though the Ferrari SA Aperta is a special edition dedicated to one of Italy’s most prominent and storied design houses, Novitec Rosso added a few of their own design tweaks to the convertible. A new 599 GTO style front spoiler lip was installed to improve cooling and downforce, new side skirts were added, and a more aggressive rear fascia with spoiler and diffuser were fitted for better aerodynamics. All of the exterior lighting was given a black tint to match the matte carbon fiber bodywork added by Novitec Rosso.

The Novitec Rosso Ferrari SA Aperta is currently available to all 80 of the produced cars. Customers can also choose to upgrade the interior with custom-tailored upholstery. Pricing has not been released.

Sometimes the Ford Crown Victorias, or in this case, Nissan Sentra taxis, become boring as they ferry passengers across cities and towns. So, Novitec Rosso and Trident Gum teamed up to make things a bit more exciting for the daily commuter in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Novitec Rosso outfitted one of their blown Ferrari F430 Spyders with the traditional checkered decals and yellow paint and gave passengers the ride of their lives. The Novitec Rosso Ferrari generated a lot of attention and stunned some observers to the point where they became reluctant to go for a ride. The entire setup was put on by Novitec Rosso and Trident to promote the new Twist gum.

When Ferrari introduced the 599 GTO to the market it was the automaker’s fastest road car ever. Ferrari pushed the 599’s output to 670 horses, used lightweight composite and race-spec materials for the body, updated the aerodynamics, and fine-tuned the suspension for the GTO model. After all that the 599 can’t get any better, right?

WRONG. The Ferrari specialists over in Germany at Novitec Rosso decided to take the limited-edition GTO to a new level of performance. Engineers developed an even more potent version of their twin-supercharger system for the 599’s 6.0-liter V-12, forcing in air at 0.45 BAR (6.5 PSI). Both superchargers are driven by a cogged V-belt, use a dedicated oil circuit for lubrication, and feature a large water-to-air intercooler to reduce intake air temperatures. The new supercharger kit also utilizes new high-performance air filters and injectors to further boost power. Allowing the supercharged engine to scream is a new stainless steel exhaust with four 90-mm black-coated exhaust tips and an adjustable exhaust note controlled via steering wheel. All modifications work in harmony with the Novitec Rosso engine management system, sending output to 888 horsepower (653 kW) at 8,400 RPM and 636 lb-ft. (862 Nm) at 6,600 RPM. This added power, coupled with the lightning-fast six-speed F1 gearbox, sends the 599 GTO to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds, 124 mph in only 9.1 seconds, and to a top speed of over 211.27 mph (340 km/h).

One of the most exciting aspects besides the extreme power output is the low overall weight of the 599 GTO. Ferrari’s use of lightweight composites for the body construction resulted in a low overall weight of just 3,296 lbs. (1,495 kg). Novitec Rosso has taken it a step further with their new NF4 wheels. Custom-developed for the Ferrari 599 GTO, the five-double spoke wheels wear an anodized titanium finish. Up front the wheels measure 10J x 21 and weigh in at 22.9 lbs. (10.4 kg), while the rear sports 12J x 22 wheels that weigh 30.4 lbs. (13.8 kg). New 295/25 ZR 21 front and 355/25 ZR 22 rear Pirelli PZero tires are fitted and offer even greater grip, greatly improving handling.

Novitec Rosso also took on the suspension, providing the 599 GTO with a lower center of gravity. To make the supercar even more precise on the track, Novitec Rosso has fitted new sport springs to the GTO. As an option, customers can also order the Novitec Rosso front-axle lift system that can raise the front of the car by 40 mm to overcome speed bumps and parking ramps. The system lowers at the touch of a button or when the car reaches 50 mph (80 km/h).

The body of the Novitec Rosso 599 GTO was kept mostly stock, as the aerodynamics and lightweight bodywork from Ferrari were already technological achievements. Instead, Novitec Rosso added a special silver paint with yellow cross stripe across the front fenders and hood and white patches on the doors for the starting numbers. The paint scheme is a tribute to the Ferrari 250 GTO chassis number 4153 that won the 1964 Tour de France. All the exterior lights including the taillights, third brake light, rear fog lights, and side markers all wear a new black finish. Novitec Rosso also offers customers the option to completely customize the interior with leather or alcantara in any color.

The Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 GTO is currently available from the Germany-based tuning company. Pricing has not been released.

The 2011 Geneva Motor Show will see the introduction of a number of new automobiles and aftermarket tuning programs. Novitec Rosso, the Ferrari tuning specialists from Germany, will be showcasing two new models: a 606-horsepower California named the Race 606, and their new 458 Italia tuning program that seeks to steal the spotlight.

The new Ferrari 458 Italia tuning program from Novitec Rosso features a new race-inspired, aerodynamically-optimized racing tuxedo. The bodywork was developed and fine-tuned by the German company at the wind tunnel in the University of Stuttgart to ensure optimum downforce and high-speed stability. The entire kit also utilizes lightweight carbon fiber to ensure weight is kept to a minimum. With the kit, the face of the 458 is more striking; wearing a new carbon fiber front spoiler flanked by two side flics and new fender ventilation ducts. Carbon fiber rocker panels help to reduce drag, while a larger rear spoiler and diffuser keep the 458 stable at high speeds. To shed even more weight, Novitec Rosso has given the mid-engined Ferrari a carbon fiber hood and roof panel along with carbon fiber mirrors and headlight surrounds.

Just like a fine suit, the overall appearance of the 458 is not complete without accessories. A staggered set of Novitec Rosso’s NF3 three-piece wheels adorn the supercar, measuring 9J x 21 up front and 12J x 22 at the rear to emphasize the wedge-shaped body. The lightweight wheels are fitted with 255/30 ZR 21 front and 335/25 ZR 22 rear Pirelli PZero tires for improved traction and grip. Finishing the overall appearance are new sport springs that lower the ride height by 35 mm. Additionally, customers can order the Novitec Rosso front end lift system that raises the height by 40 mm to overcome parking ramps and speed bumps.

The Novitec Rosso 458 Italia tuning program isn’t just about a fancy racing suit. A more potent V-8 is hidden behind the cockpit. Engineers developed a new carbon fiber airbox to suck in more air than the stock unit, while a new performance exhaust system helps to optimize the flow of exhaust gasses. The new exhaust system is constructed using INCONEL, the same material that is utilized in Formula 1 racecars for its low weight and heat-resistant properties. Not only does the system save 46 lbs. in weight, but its remote-controlled butterfly valves create a powerful roar. Working in harmony with the retuned ECU, the new modifications add up to 420 lb-ft. of torque at 5,400 RPM and 609 horsepower at 9,100 RPM – 39 hp and 100 RPM higher than stock. This helps the 458 Italia reach a 205 mph (330 km/h) top speed.

The entire package can be finished with a custom-tailored interior. Customers have the choice between fine leather and alcantara in a limitless choice of colors, stitching, and designs. Novitec Rosso also offers carbon fiber racing components such as scuff plates, center console trim, and longer steering wheel shift paddles.

The new Novitec Rosso 458 Italia will be showcased at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Pricing has not been released for the complete program or individual components.

At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show Novitec Rosso will introduce their new Race 606 tuning program for the Ferrari California. The Race 606 will be the second program for the front-engined V-8 Ferrari from the German tuner. The previous program boosted power by only 40 horses and only added a few subtle aerodynamic components. This time around, Novitec has gone all-out with the Race 606 and transformed the California into a supercharged speed demon.

The Race 606 boasts a 0-62 mph acceleration time of less than 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. Compare that to the stock California’s 0-62 mph time of 4.0 seconds and top speed of 193 mph. The Race 606 however, achieves these figures a different way than the stock model – with forced induction!

The direct-injected 4.3-liter V-8 that powers the California gains a significant power boost from the supercharging specialists at Novitec Rosso. Engineers have installed a mechanical supercharger that is driven by the crankshaft. The supercharger kit also includes a water-to-air intercooler, larger fuel injectors, and a redesigned intake manifold, resulting in a maximum boost pressure of 0.4 BAR (5.8 PSI). The Race 606 also gains a high-performance exhaust system with sport catalytic converters and four black-coated tailpipes. The exhaust also features a flap control system, allowing the driver to adjust the exhaust note via steering wheel button. All modifications work in harmony with reprogrammed engine electronics, culminating in 606 horsepower at 7,900 RPM and 445 lb-ft. of torque at 5,500 RPM.

With a new top speed and even better acceleration, the California needed new aerodynamic bodywork to keep it planted to the tarmac. The Race 606 wears new clear-coated carbon fiber components that were developed in a wind tunnel to reduce lift. At the front a carbon fiber front spoiler improves downforce while the new carbon hood centerpiece helps to reduce weight and efficiently cool the engine. The rear features a new spoiler atop the trunk lid and a large diffuser to reduce lift. Novitec has also added side air outlets to the front fenders, mirror covers, rocker panel blades, taillight surrounds, and a carbon fiber hardtop skin to give the Race 606 a bolder appearance.

The added performance also necessitated a wheel/tire and suspension upgrade. Novitec Rosso’s three-piece NF3 wheels have been given a carbon fiber coating and measure a staggered 9J x 21 up front and 11.5J x 22 at the rear on the Race 606. New high-performance Pirelli PZero 255/30 ZR 21 front and 315/25 ZR 22 rear tires have been fitted to help the Race 606 surpass the 200+ mph top speed threshold. Working with the new aerodynamic components to improve high-speed stability are new sport springs that lower the car by 35 mm. The new suspension also features a front-end lift system that can raise the car by 40 mm for speed bumps and garage ramps.

The interior of the Race 606 can be custom tailored by Novitec Rosso to suit each customer. A number of interior components are available ranging from longer shift paddles, carbon fiber scuff plates, and new steering wheel in suede or alcantara.

Pricing for the Novitec Rosso Race 606 has not been released. The supercharger system can also be ordered separately for a standard Ferrari California. The Race 606 will be on display at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

The 612 Scaglietti won’t go quietly – not if Novitec Rosso has anything to do with it. The 2+2 Grand Tourer is the oldest in Ferrari’s lineup. With its replacement due out in 2011, Novitec Rosso has refined the coupe from Maranello with a new interior, stunning wheels, and of course – more power.

A highlight of the 2+2 is the high-revving 5.7-liter V-12 that packs a deep exhaust note. To give the 612 an even more invigorating V-12 symphony, Novitec Rosso has added a sport exhaust system finished with four 90 mm cut pipes. For even more power, Novitec Rosso has retuned the engine management system to unleash a few stallions, upping power to 565 horsepower and 449 lb-ft of torque. The added power helps the Scaglietti nail 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of over 202 mph.

Giving the 612 an unforgettable look before it retires are new wheels and redesigned lighting. To compliment the design of the 612, Novitec Rosso has fitted staggered NF3 alloy wheels with polished lips. The three-piece, five double-spoke wheels measure 9 J x 20 up front and 12.5 J x 21 at the rear. To improve braking and handling the 612 wears new Pirelli P Zero 275/30 ZR 20 front and 355/25 R 21 rear tires. Customers can also opt to enhance the 612 tuning program’s appearance with black Novitec Rosso lamps consisting of four taillights, side markers, and reflectors.

The four-seat interior also receives the exclusive Novitec Rosso Ferrari treatment, allowing customers to create a truly custom cabin. An ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel with a flat bottom is fitted, and built to the customer’s thickness, material, and color specifications. Special seats can be custom ordered, and are made to fit each customer’s body measurements for unmatched comfort and support. Novitec Rosso also allows customers to chose from a virtually unlimited palette of colors and materials for a unique interior.

Performance is even more impressive, accelerating to 62 mph for the Race 848 takes just 3.4 seconds, while 124 mph is reached in only 9.6 seconds. The F-1 Superfast six-speed transmission changes gears even quicker thanks to new steering wheel mounted carbon fiber shift paddles. Top speed is over 214 mph, making the Race 848 one of the fastest supercars in the world.

With such a high top speed, aerodynamic components had to be designed and fitted in order for the 848 to remain stable. All components were developed in a wind tunnel, ensuring that enough downforce would be created to keep the Race 848 planted to the tarmac. At the front, a new spoiler lip helps reduce lift, while a new wing and diffuser increase downforce at the rear. Rocker panels run alongside the Race 848 and redirect air to the rear brakes for optimum cooling. Exclusive visual alterations have been made such as the addition of black side markers, taillights, third brake lights, and LED backup lights to compliment the one-of-a-kind paint scheme. Dressed in a matte white paint, the Race 848 features contrasting gray accents along the roof and hood for an unforgettable appearance.

Completing the exclusive appearance of the Race 848 are three-piece Novitec Rosso Ferrari NF3 light alloy wheels featuring five double spokes. Measuring 9Jx20 with 275/30 ZR 20 tires at the front and 12.5Jx21 with 355/25 ZR21 Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires at the rear, the contrasting gray and white wheels are one inch larger than stock and provide space for the large braking system. Developed in conjunction with Brembo, the braking system is currently the largest approved for street use. Steel discs measure 16 inches in diameter at both the front and rear and provide unrelenting stopping power. The adjustable sport suspension gives the 848 both a striking visual appearance and increased performance. Damping rates are adjustable, allowing for the optimum setup. The suspension also features a lift function that raises the car 1.5 inches to clear obstacles, and automatically lowers when the 848 reaches 50 mph.

Inside the Race 848, Novitec Rosso offers a truly customized experience that is built according to customer specification. A limited edition plaque with the car’s serial number is proudly displayed. New aluminum pedals and footrests along with the leather and carbon fiber steering wheel are featured. Customers can create either a race-bred or luxurious interior, and have a virtually unlimited list of options.

Novitec Rosso will build only 3 examples of the 599 tuning package called the Race 848. The world debut of the supercar will be at the 2010 Geneva International Motor Show.

Creating a sporty appearance for the grand tourer are new aerodynamic components made of lightweight clear-coated carbon fiber. At the front the stock bumper can be fitted with a front spoiler. The spoiler gives the California a more prominent face, and increases downforce at the front axle for better stability. Flowing to the rear of the car are carbon fiber rocker panel moldings for a sleeker appearance. Downforce is increased at the rear thanks to an additional trunk spoiler, while a new rear diffuser keeps the California planted to the road.

The most prominent addition to the California is the Novitec Rosso NF3 three-piece wheels. Measuring 9Jx21 at the front and 11.5Jx22 at the rear, these staggered wheels flaunt the California’s yellow brake calipers. High performance tires have been custom tailored by Pirelli for the California, and measure 255/30 ZR 21 at the front and 315/25 ZR 22.

To compensate for the high performance tires, the new Novitec Rosso Ferrari sport springs have been adjusted, lowing the car by 35 millimeters. For everyday use, the California has been fitted with the new Novitec Rosso hydraulic front lift system. The system raises the front of the car by 40 millimeters at the push of a button to avoid bumps and ramps. The car is lowered when the button is pushed again, or when the car reaches a speed of 50 mph.

The 4.3-liter Ferrari V-8 gains 40 hp, pushing output to 500 hp, and enjoys a higher redline of 8,300 RPM, making the California more entertaining to drive. A new California tuning engine management system features custom injection and ignition mapping for an improved powerband. On the steering wheel a Manettino switch controls the flap actuator, bathing the car in the powerful V-8 exhaust note from the Novitec Rosso stainless-steel exhaust.

The cabin of the California can be customized with an array of finished leather and Alcantara. Novitec Rosso offers an almost infinite choice of colors and upholstery designs.

Named after the power produced by the new Novitec Rosso 747 Bi-Compressor engine, the Edizione 747 is one of the most powerful supercars and Ferrari F430 tuning programs in the world. Forcing air into the combustion chamber at 7.7 psi are two cogged-belt-driven superchargers and intercoolers each mounted on opposite cylinder banks. Cooling the engine are new water and oil radiators, with a dedicated water circuit for the intercooling system. Increasing the engine’s redline by 200 rpm to a screaming 8,840 rpm is a new Novitec Rosso engine management system.

With a power output of 747 hp at 8,500 rpm and 544 lb-ft. of torque at 6,300 rpm, Novitec Rosso has increased power over the naturally aspirated Scuderia by 237 hp and 197 lb-ft. of torque. Shooting to 62 mph takes less than 3.4 seconds, while 124 mph is reached in only 9.4 seconds for the Edizione 747. Optional longer gear ratios allow the car to achieve a top speed of 218 mph.

Lowering the Edizione 747 by 1.3 inches are Novitec Rosso Ferrari sport springs that allow for greater handling dynamics. To avoid obstacles and make the car more suitable for everyday use is an optional hydraulic lift system, raising the front axle by 1.6 inches. The system can be controlled from inside the car with the push of a button, allowing the driver to raise and lower the car. At 50 mph the car will automatically lower to itself to its original position if the button is not pushed.

A two-tone matte yellow and gray color scheme gives the Edizione 747 a distinct presence. Black taillights, side markers, and reflectors complete the sporty appearance. Engine components dressed in carbon fiber with a matte finish allude to the Edizione 747’s racing character. Three-piece NF3 double-spoke wheels measuring 20 inches in diameter continue the matte yellow and gray color scheme. Michelin Pilot Cup tires measuring 245/30 ZR 20 front and 315/25 ZR 20 are used to further enhance performance.

To match the color scheme of the exterior an optional two-tone interior is available. A carbon fiber and leather steering wheel featuring a flattened bottom is standard with optional carbon fiber paddle shifters allowing for easier shifting.

The Novitec Rosso Edizione 747 commemorates the end of production for Ferrari’s legendary F430 model series. Production of the Edizione 747 will be limited to the Berlinetta variant of the F430 Scuderia. Pricing for the Edizione 747 has not been released.
