Vorsteiner has a unique ability to form lightweight Pre-Preg carbon fiber into works of aerodynamic art for the most powerful sports cars. The latest creation of carbon fiber and forged aluminum is the Vorsteiner BR-10 for the Bentley Continental GT.

The new Vorsteiner BR-10 features a lightweight and aerodynamic body kit formed by using Pre-Preg carbon fiber with a high-quality fitment. The front of the Vorsteiner Bentley Continental GT features a two-piece spoiler at the bottom of the bumper that improves downforce and helps to redirect cool air into the car’s radiators. The new spoiler also lowers the car visually by 40 mm for a more aggressive and sporty appearance.

Along each side of the Vorsteiner Bentley Continental GT sit a pair of two-piece side skirts. The skirts help calm the airflow around the wheels and feature a single body-colored piece and lower carbon fiber sill extension to match the design of the lowered front spoiler. At the rear of the Vorsteiner BR-10 are a deck lid spoiler and diffuser. The spoiler helps to create additional downforce at the rear axle at high speeds. The carbon fiber diffuser was designed to utilize aerodynamic fins while accommodating the stock brake light housing and exhaust tips.

In addition to the Vorsteiner BR-10 aerodynamic package, the Bentley Continental GT can also be optioned with a new set of forged aluminum wheels. The five-spoke, 22-inch wheels offer a slight weight reduction over the stock wheels, thus resulting in better overall driving performance. Each wheel can be powder coated or painted to customer specification and come with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires for greater grip.

All of the components in the new Vorsteiner BR-10 Bentley Continental GT are currently available in a range of custom colors and finishes. Pricing has not been released.

Bentley has unveiled its newest, and most efficient Continental models at the 2012 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in Detroit, each with the all-new twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine. The new engine promises to improve fuel efficiency and emissions by 40 percent, while still producing a significant amount of power for an exhilarating drive.

The newest Bentley V8 is a technologically advanced engine that helps provide efficient power. The 4.0-liter engine will be featured in the Continental GT and GTC models, and be positioned beneath the W-12 models in the model range.

When designing and developing the new Continental V8 range, Bentley engineers focused on reducing friction and using the latest technology to improve efficiency. The 4.0-liter V8 features direct fuel injection, an energy charging recuperation system, low friction bearings, thermal management, and optimized turbocharger placement for an effective way of producing large amounts of power.

One of the new features the Bentley is using to reduce emissions and improve economy is variable displacement technology. By using an advanced management system the 4.0-liter Continental V8 can deactivate four cylinders at cruising speed or low throttle input and operate as a V-4 engine. Upon greater throttle input, the remaining four cylinders are instantly activated and the engine operates as a normal V8. To maintain NVH, Bentley uses hydraulic engine mounts that adjust softness and reduce vibration.

Both the Bentley Continental GT V8 and Bentley Continental GTC V8 models will produce 500 bhp at 6,000 RPM and 487 lb-ft. at just 1,700 RPM. In the GT V8 model, 60 mph can be reached in 4.6 seconds and top speed is limited to 188 mph. For the GTC V8, 60 mph takes just 4.7 seconds to reach and top speed is pegged at 187 mph.

The new Bentley V8 is mated to a new eight-speed close-ratio automatic transmission with incredibly quick shifts for better performance and efficiency. Gears are shifted with smooth precision and send power to the advanced all-wheel drive system with 40:60 torque split and Torsen differential. A close ratio gearbox was chosen for the new 4.0-liter V8 so that each gear is properly located in the engine’s wide powerband. The result of the new transmission was a six percent improvement in efficiency for the Continental.

“With the new 4.0 litre V8 engine we are widening the appeal of the latest generation of Continentals, introducing a completely new driving experience,” said Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive, Bentley Motors. “The new engine will have all the exhilarating power, drama and performance you would expect from a V8 engine sporting the famous Bentley wings, effortlessly delivered with our characteristic ‘wave of torque’. This is complemented by innovative powertrain technology that delivers exceptional fuel efficiency and emissions.”

Both the Bentley Continental GT V8 and Bentley Continental GTC V8 models will feature a number of aesthetic distinctions. At the front, each model will proudly wear a red Bentley ‘B’ badge, gloss black matrix grille with chrome accents, and a three-part black matrix lower bumper with body-colored strakes. Chrome ‘figure eight’ tailpipe will emphasize the new V-8 engine at the rear. Both models will come standard with 20-inch wheels, and can be optioned with six-spoke, 21-inch Diamond Black or Diamond Silver wheels.

Inside, Bentley offers exclusive interiors with a luxurious and sporty feel. Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus veneer is featured on the dashboard and trim throughout the cockpit. Instead of the traditional leather headliner, the GT and GTC V8 models will boast Eliade cloth with a technical finish. Customers can also opt for a two-tone color split for the entire interior for a custom tailored look.

The Bentley Continental GT V8 and Bentley Continental GTC V8 models will be available in seven exterior colors with three hood colors for GTC models. Four standard interior hide colors are also available. In addition, customers can also opt for the full range of 17 exterior and 17 interior colors with seven dual-tone options and eight hood finishes. European pricing for the Bentley Continental GT V8 will begin at €136,000, while the GTC V8 models will start at €149,600. Pricing for the United States has not been released.

The latest generation of the Continental was just recently released by Bentley over the summer and the Bentley specialists at Imperium Automotive have wasted no time introducing a limited production visual package for the grand tourer.

Named “Audentia” to represent the package’s boldness and courage, the new Imperium Bentley is a statement of superiority and exclusivity. All of the components are produced with modern technology in the UK to ensure the utmost in quality. Customers have the option to order the components in PU-RIM plastic or superlight and high-strength prepreg autoclave carbon fiber.

The Imperium Bentley Audentia is sculpted, muscular, and refined compared to the stock Continental GT. The front is given a new bumper with redesigned grille and air intakes to help cool the engine and reduce lift at the front axle. New side skirts reinforce the design of the front bumper with correlating inlet and outlet accents. At the rear, Imperium has installed a new apron with a subtle trunk spoiler, rear diffuser, and integrated trapezoidal exhaust tips.

The Bentley Continental GT Audentia does is a visual upgrade package. The 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W-12 engine is not modified in the package and will continue to produce 567 bhp and 516 lb-ft. of torque.

Only 50 examples of the Imperium Bentley Continental GT Audentia will be produced. Pricing for each package will start at £25,000 (+/- 39,300 USD) with full delivery taking place in an estimated 6-8 weeks.

One of the most recognized symbols of British luxury is Bentley. The automobiles represent craftsmanship, affluence, and power. The company has recently seen a large growth in the Chinese market, and to celebrate the success they have teamed up with another British luxury and design icon – Linley.

“Our collaboration with Linley brings a new element to the interior of one of our globally best-selling models. The Continental Flying Spur has a unique executive style and elegance which is complemented wonderfully by the Linley veneers,” said Christine Gaskell, Member of the Board for Personnel, Bentley Motors. “We share an expertise in the use of natural materials and a commitment to superlative craftsmanship.”

Each of the limited edition Bentley Continental Flying Spurs are treated to a handcrafted interior with unique Linley design characteristics. Instead of the traditional Bentley Chestnut or Walnut wood veneer, specially selected Santos Rosewood Linley veneers are used in the dashboard, console, waist rail, and roof console. Stainless steel Linley door entry sills greet passengers upon entry. Facing the passenger is a Linley logo in stainless steel, behind which is a Linley for Bentley rhodium-plated plaque inside the glove box compartment. Each seat wears modified fluting and new Burnt Oak contrasting stitching. Each of the storage areas and door pockets are given Burnt Oak Hide leather upholstery.

The rear seats of the Linley Bentley Continental Flying Spurs have been designed using the same theme used in the British design house’s Helix Furniture collection. A unique Helix braided inlay overlaps the Santos Rosewood veneers in the waist rail and picnic tables by the two rear seats. The overlapping Helix theme contrasts the Rosewood and produces a wave-like appearance and uses four different types of veneer specially made by master craftsman. Between the set of rear seats is a customer-commissioned Linley humidor with humidification system, cigar cutter, and ashtray. Behind the rear console and arm rest sits a built-in refrigerator designed to accommodate bottles.

“The humidor has been designed by Linley and it drops into a unique console. We have reconfigured the console so that the humidor can fit in, moving things around and creating a space,” said Brett Boydell, Senior Designer at Bentley. “It was an engineering feat to meet the quality requirements of a Bentley and the design cues of Linley.”

In each of the Linley Bentley models come standard with a Linley leather bag and soft cashmere blanket, leather luggage tag, and other exclusive Linley accessories.

“It is a great honor to be working alongside such an esteemed British brand as Bentley. Our two brands share a commitment to superlative craftsmanship and design,” said David Linley, Chairman of Linley. “I believe that the culmination of our efforts has resulted in a car that is utterly unique and reflective of the passion that both brands share for pushing boundaries of engineering and excellence.”

Only ten examples of the Linley Continental Flying Spur will be produced. All models will be built for China, Bentley’s biggest four-door market. Pricing for each of the models has not been released.

Bentley and Estede have introduced a new limited-edition line of solid gold or platinum sunglasses to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their partnership. The sunglasses bring together the classic Bentley designs with the high-end quality of Estede.

The new Bentley and Estede sunglasses are modern, simple, and informal. The glasses will be initially available in either 18ct solid gold, platinum, or silver palladium. The eyewear features many references to the Bentley Mulsanne with a Bentley “B” covered in hand polished enamel and engraved surface designs.

Each of the Bentley sunglasses are made to order and come individually numbered 0-100. Special lenses are used that provide 100 percent protection against harmful UV rays and wear state-of-the-art reflective coating.

“The eyewear has been received very well with more orders than we could expect. Currently our main markets are Hong Kong, China and Russia, but we will start by the end of this year to distribute the products also in Great Britain, the US and the Middle East,” said Christoph Rosenauer, son of Albrecht F. Rosenauer, who founded Estede in 1991. “Our main attraction is the level of personalization that we can offer. The customer can order the frames or sunglasses in the size needed, we can offer them in white, pink or yellow gold (or even platinum if requested). Also the case is made to order and can be in any hide color that Bentley offers, since we use the same leather as Bentley. Due to this level of personalization we only produce to order according to the customer’s specifications. We do not carry stock at present.”

Estede also offers the Mulsanne Range of sunglasses that are handcrafted from 18ct red gold, white gold, or 950 platinum. The 100-piece limited edition sunglasses feature a Bentley “B” and knurling effect as found on the Mulsanne’s gear lever. The sunglasses are handcrafted in Germany and utilize Zeiss polarized lenses for improved vision in high-light conditions. Each pair of sunglasses comes complete with a presentation box and hard case designed to fit in the center console of the Mulsanne.

The Estede and Bentley collection of limited edition sunglasses will be available for order through optical networks worldwide. The 18ct gold limited edition sunglasses are available for € 10,000 (+/- 14,500 USD) and other 18 ct models in the range can be purchased for € 7,700 (+/- 11,000 USD). Prices for the platinum sunglasses start at € 31,500 (+/- 45,699 USD).

Inside of one of the most exclusive private dining clubs in London is a room that emerges members in the rich history of Bentley. The new Bentley Room at Mosimann’s has been updated and designed by Caulder Moore and showcases the tradition of the British marquee with a contemporary flair.

The new Bentley Room immerses patrons in a wealth of British style with stunning Bentley accents. After designing the Bentley Living Room at the marquee’s headquarters in Crewe, England, Moore was given the task of updating the dining room at Mosimann’s.

“We are delighted that Bentley will have a new room at Mosimann’s; it is a relationship that has been established over nearly a decade and the synergy between the two Royal Warrant Holding organizations is based on achieving perfection in all the finest details,” said Mark Mosimann, Managing Director at Mosimann’s. “Bentley is at the heart of Mosimann’s and the room reflects what members enjoy about their private dining club in Belgravia. It is warm, cosseted and positively oozes with charm.”

The updated Bentley Dining Room can seat 14 and offers standing room for 28. The room uses a neutral color scheme with racing green and purple silk accents, and is decorated with pictures of historic racing successes, heritage imagery, and original artwork from the Crewe styling team.

The highlights of the room include a new table and wall unit built and designed by Matthew Collins Furniture. The table features Bentley burr oak, burr walnut, and stained burr walnut veneers with picture framing marquetry with the same design as those used in the Bentley Mulsanne. Above the table is a Pendant light with sketches of historic and current Bentley models. The new wall unit features dark stained burr walnut veneer, Bentley Mulsanne handles on each drawer, and shelves lined in shortbread hide Bentley leather to mimic luxuries used in the flagship sedan.

At one end of the room sits a mirror trimmed in Burt Oak Bentley leather hide with shortbread stitching. Guests enter and exit the room through a door wearing the same Burnt Oak Bentley leather and shortbread stitching with an embroidered Bentley logo. The door handle has been designed after the knobs and switches in the Mulsanne and uses a unique Bentley knurling detail texture.

The Bentley Dining Room is one of seven private dining rooms inside Mosimann. Only a select few are able to enjoy the luxury of the room and finest dining in London.

Back in 1921 Noel Van Raalte purchased and took delivery of a Bentley 3 litre chassis number 3 for of £1,150. At the 2011 Gooding & Co. Pebble Beach Auction the same 1921 3-litre Bentley sold for an astonishing $962,500 (with 10 percent buyer’s premium).

For ninety years the Bentley has survived with the original brass brightwork and aluminum coachwork. Bentley’s engineering and racing successes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1924 and 1927, along with their historical five wins in eight years, stemmed from the original production 3 litre.

“Pebble Beach is the ideal venue to showcase Bentleys old and new,” said Chairman and Chief Executive, Wolfgang Dürheimer. “On the same day that Gooding & Co. auctioned the world’s oldest surviving production Bentley, we hosted a private preview of a brand new model. During Monterey week, the enthusiasm for the evolution of the automobile is palpable.”

Expect the oldest surviving production Bentley to last another 90 years at the hands of the buyer who invested nearly one million dollars into the classic automobile.

At the rear of the Bentley are a boot spoiler lip and a diffuser that create downforce at high speeds for better stability.

Although Bentley may be looked at as more of a luxury badge, IMPERIUM has taken steps to provide the client with a more exciting driving experience. Both the front and rear axles are fitted with bespoke ultra-lightweight forged wheels designed and finished to customer specification. Sitting behind the wheels is a more powerful braking system and a lowered sport suspension. IMPERIUM has also upgraded the 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W-12 engine with a retuned ECU and a sport exhaust system crafted to match the noise and depth requested by the client.

Inside the Bentley Continental GT has been uniquely transformed to client specification. Special leather, carbon fiber, wood trim, ultra suede, and piano black finishes create an individual luxury atmosphere. Facing the driver is an ergonomically designed steering wheel for complete control of the bespoke masterpiece.

Tibaldi, the Italian pen maker and pen partner of Bentley has recently been recognized for their Bentley Mulsanne line and have also introduced a new Continental Supersports collection. Each collection incorporates the unique design, technology, and craftsmanship of both Bentley automobiles and symbolize tradition and functionality.

The Tibaldi for Bentley Mulsanne collection was chosen at Pen World’s 17th annual Readers’ Choice Awards in New York City to receive the Most Exciting Motorsport Pen. Readers of the publication for fine writing instruments chose the Bentley pen because it was inspired and designed after the roaring engines that were associated with the famous straight and corner at the LeMans circuit.

The Bentley Mulsanne takes after the legendary 1930 8-liter automobile that W.O. Bentley owned. The new Mulsanne is the flagship of the Bentley line and embodies the luxury, design, and engineering that the marquee is known for. The Tibaldi for Bentley Mulsanne pen incorporates the craftsmanship and tradition of both companies. The pen features a knurled band surface and pocket clip that resembles the switchgear on the Mulsanne. The cap wears a Bentley emblem that mirrors the Mulsanne’s starter button. Tibaldi has also made the pen in accordance with the Divine Proportion. The ratio between the cap and the barrel when the pen is closed equals to an aesthetically pleasing 1.618 ratio. Two versions of the pen are available; 18 karat rose gold and sterling silver. The sterling silver examples will be limited to 90 fountain pens and 90 roller balls while only nine fountain pens and nine roller balls will be available in 18k rose gold. In addition, three accent finishes that are found in the Mulsanne are available: Dark Stained Vavona, Burr Oak and Burr Walnut. “The greatest challenge when developing these extraordinary pens has been the production of the wood components, which were designed to match the interior of this outstanding new car,” says Giuseppe Aquila, CEO of Tibaldi.

Tibaldi also introduced their new Bentley Continental Supersports collection. The new collection showcases the same use of technology, weight savings, and performance employed in the Continental Supersports. The pens wear a coat of carbon fiber and are trimmed in titanium to portray the dedication to performance and technology. The pens are designed for functionality and purpose, and feature a signature Tibaldi picket clip terminated in a rolling ball. “The close collaboration between our engineers and Bentley’s design team of Robin Page, head of Interior Design, and Jonathan Punter, resulted in the creation of an outstanding pen, which encapsulates the features of Bentley’s most powerful car ever,” said Giuseppe Aquila, CEO of Tibaldi.

The Tibaldi for Bentley Continental Supersports collection will be limited to 630 fountain pens and 630 roller balls, representing the actual horsepower created by the automobile.
