The Masterpiece London is an international collectors fair that brings together some of the rarest and most expensive pieces of art and design. As part of the event, Rolls Royce will introduce their one-off bespoke Drophead Coupé that was designed as the perfect weekend getaway car complete with a one-off Asprey jewelry box and individual luggage set.

The new one-off Rolls Royce Drophead Coupé will feature a number of exclusive design details. The entire exterior flaunts a new Mazarine Blue paint finish that was inspired by the Mazarine Blue butterfly found in continental Europe. The Spirit of Ecstasy is also exclusive and is engraved with an inscription that marks the centenary of the icon. With the top down, passengers are greeted with yacht-inspired teak decking with mother-of-pearl inlays throughout cross-banded Santos Palissander wood veneers.

Inside is the wealth of luxury that we’ve all come to cherish from Rolls Royce. Natural grain leather finishes most of the interior in a Seashell with Navy Blue contrast color scheme. The headrests have been embroidered with “R-R” logos, while the entry sills feature a “Masterpiece London” nameplate. Mother-of-pearl white instrument dials, rotary controls, and clock complete the interior.

But the one-off Rolls Royce isn’t just a unique luxury package. Inside the glove box is an Asprey jewelry case that took two days to fabricate. The case uses 15 separate pieces of the softest grade-one cut suede. Inside the case are sections for cufflinks, rings, and a detachable earring holder for clip or stud-style earrings. An elegant embossed Silver foil Asprey stamp completes the exclusive case.

Hiding inside the picnic trunk is another bespoke feature of the one-off Rolls Royce Drophead Coupé – a new luggage set that was designed in Goodwood and is comprised of four different deep Navy Blue cases. Hides were selected for their firmness and grain structure then tanned in pits for four months. During the process, a bark, wood, and berry mixture was added to give the hides their pigment and produce a delightful aroma.

The one-off Rolls Royce Drophead Coupé will be displayed at the 2011 Masterpiece London fair on Friday June 29th. The fair will run from Saturday June 30th to Friday, July 5th.

Taking automobiles that symbolize power and prestige and converting them into sedans with unrivaled exclusivity and character are tasks that Mansory is accustomed to. The latest luxury limousine from Rolls Royce receives the same treatment from the Bavarian tuner, morphing into a muscular powerhouse with a lavish personality.

The character of the new White Ghost comes alive when the smooth twin-turbocharged V-12 is started. With a retuned ECU and full-bodied dual sports exhaust, the powerful 6.6-liter turns into a lively British machine. The modifications unleash 107 horses, boosting the horsepower output to a breathtaking 639 at 5,700 RPM. The monstrous torque created by the stock engine rises to a thunderous 634 lb-ft. Acceleration is impressive and smooth, launching the White Ghost to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds – 0.4 seconds quicker than the Ghost. With the retuned ECU, the White Ghost no longer remains shackled with a 155 mph top speed. Instead, 180 mph is the new ceiling for the luxury sedan.

The V-12’s stalwart temperament is displayed in the exterior enhancements on the White Ghost. To emphasize the confidence of the White Ghost and its driver, Mansory has applied an elegant white paint to the sedan. New LED daytime running lights and unique air intakes and outlets highlight the new, bold front fascia. Along with the new daytime running lights, Mansory has fitted LED turn signals to the side mirrors. The fenders feature new chrome accents that compliment the Ghost’s character lines, while Mansory side skirts reduce aerodynamic drag. At the rear, a larger spoiler is fitted to reduce lift, and a new rear skirt houses the dual sport exhaust.

Finishing the elegant exterior is a set of 22-inch wheels specially designed by Mansory for the White Ghost. Wearing a diamond-polished face, the stately wheels measure a staggering 22 x 9 at the front and 22 x 10.5 at the rear. Chosen for it’s superb ride quality and traction, Dunlop SP SportMaxx tires are fitted and measure 265/35 up front, while the rear is shod in 295/30 rubber.

The bold and classy exterior is only trumped by the lavish and ostentatious cabin. Rich, cross-stitched leather adorns much of the dashboard, center console, and seating. Soft Alcantara highlights the dashboard and headliner, while a light bamboo underscores the extravagant atmosphere. LED lighting is integrated into the seating, door panels, and dashboard to create a relaxing interior environment.

The classy White Ghost Limited is currently for sale starting at € 119.800 (+/- 158,000 USD) plus basic edition. Production of the lavish limousine will be limited to just three examples.

The Ghost receives classic Rolls Royce design language such as the long hood, tall and powerful grille, a short front overhang, and sharply raked A-pillar. That however, is where the Ghost’s classic personality stops.

The new Ghost has been designed and engineered to create a rich driving experience, an automobile that you would rather drive than be chauffeured in. The principal of “simplicity out of complexity” pulses through its veins.

Dynamic design dominates the exterior. Powerful shoulders flow to the rear in unison with the low-cut roof creating a powerful and sleek profile. Muscular lines flank the powerful grille and cut through the hood. The large air intake resembles that of a jet, swallowing air for the mighty V-12. Optional chromed exhausts sit below the modern taillights. Self-righting wheel centers bear the Rolls Royce logo. An optional Silver Satin finish is available for the hood, grille, and windscreen surround.

The cockpit has been designed to be simple and intuitive, in order to create a more enjoyable driving experience. More driver-oriented than any Rolls Royce before it, the Ghost features an elevated driver’s seat in order to have a clear view of the road. Neatly sculpted functions with violin key switches, frosted white dials, and frosted lamps adorn the dashboard. The center display is hidden behind a veneered panel, and controlled by a rotary controller and quick access buttons on the front center console.

Coach doors greet passengers as they enter a contemporary and comfortable interior. Inside the front doors are Teflon-coated umbrellas for unsatisfactory weather. For a more private and intimate ride, rear passengers are positioned behind the C-pillar and seats are slightly angled towards each other. Natural light bathes the interior, creating an inviting and warm environment. Four-zone air conditioning allows for individual comfort, and can be controlled separately at the front and rear. Individual lounge seating is optional, and features massaging functions and perforated leather for a stream of cool air. Veneered picnic tables are an additional option for the rear seats, featuring a veneered surface and a fine leather back.

A number of electronic systems assist the driver and creates a satisfying ride. Numerous cameras are fitted around the Ghost to display obstacles in blind spots and provide a reverse path prediction for parking. Inside the grille that houses the Spirit of Ecstasy is a night vision camera. The camera works in conjunction with the Pedestrian Recognition system to display objects up to 300 meters away on the dash screen. A heads-up display projects information such as speed and navigation on the front windshield, and is only visible to the driver. The most enjoyable electronic system is the standard 600-watt entertainment system. Featuring 16-speakers, a 10-channel amplifier, and two floor-mounted subwoofers, the system delivers an intimate concert experience. A 12.5 GB hard drive allows for the storage of music and information from CD’s and USB devices. An optional Theatre Configuration is available for the rear seats, and features a six-disc multimedia changer and two 9.2-inch LCD screens that are controlled by an armrest rotary controller.

The Ghost is the most powerful automobile produced by Rolls Royce thanks to the 6.6-liter twin-turbo V-12 engine. Producing 583 bhp and 575 lb-ft. of torque, the Ghost is catapulted to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds, on it’s way to a 155 mph top speed. An eight-speed automatic ZF transmission delivers exceptional performance while achieving optimum fuel consumption. Replacing the standard rev counter is a power reserve gauge, alluding to the Ghost’s dynamic nature. The new air suspension system ensures the proper ride in any condition. The system is so sensitive that it can detect the movement of a single passenger from one seat to the other, and adjust appropriately.

The Ghost is built with the same legendary craftsmanship and attention to detail known only to Rolls Royce. Taking at least 20 days to complete, the Ghost endures over 2,000 operations from 60 craftsmen. Seven days are dedicated to painting the Ghost. After the final coat, the Ghost is hand-polished for five hours. Twelve exterior colors are available with an optional Silver Satin hood.

Only the highest quality leather is used for the interior of the Ghost. A minimum of eight bull hides are used for the interior, all batch dyed at the same time for consistency. Instead of painting, the leather is drum-dyed to guarantee that it is supple and durable. All seats and interior trim pieces are hand stitched by skills craftsmen and women. Veneer specialists handpick the finest logs for the interior. Only one tree is used for each Ghost to ensure matching grain and color. The wood is hand milled and sanded before it is given five coats of lacquer.

The newest and most dynamic addition to the Rolls Royce model line will be available in April of 2010 at a base price of $245,000.
