Wide is beautiful.

Afzal Kahn of A Kahn Design is no stranger when it comes to Porsche, having upgraded a number in the past. His famous and highly sought after “F1” plate even rests on his A Kahn Design Porsche Panamera in carbon grey.

Afzal Kahn and his design team have unveiled a wide track Kahn Porsche Panamera that has a jaw-dropping style that erupts with power in almost every body panel. The wide track package extends the front and rear wheel arches and feature air outlets for a wide, athletic stance. The front of the Porsche Panamera wears a revised bumper with LED lighting that flows into the extended front fender and ends with billet aluminum side vents. The rear boasts a trunk spoiler for added downforce and a rear air dam. Protruding from the back of the Kahn Porsche Panamera are quad exhaust tips with a unique crosshair design.

The entire A Kahn Design wide track Panamera was then lowered with new, lowered sports suspension for better handling. Filling in the extended wheel arches are A Kahn Design RS600 wheels with original center caps in a 22-inch diameter. Behind each of the wheels are red painted brake calipers that contrast the exterior paint scheme.

On the featured Kahn Porsche Panamera wide track, the team of British designers chose to use a bright red and black color scheme. Each seat was furnished with claret quilted and perforated red leather with black leather borders. Each of the gauges was also replaced with red elements to match the leather. Occupants are hidden inside from view thanks to Kahn privacy glass.

The A Kahn Design Porsche Panamera wide track is currently available. The featured show car can be purchased as a whole for £86,875, and comes standard with satellite navigation, Sport Chrono Plus, PDK transmission, power liftgate, heated front seats, and iPod connectivity.

Celebrating 40 years of Audi with more power!

Celebrating 40 years of Audi with more power!

Back in 1972, Audi began producing a compact executive car called the Audi 80. Production for the small executive car spanned four generations until it was replaced by the Audi A4 in 1996. Since then, the A4 has been quite successful around the world. Now entering its 40th year of production, the German automaker has given the Audi A4 B8 a facelift with new LED lighting, revised styling, and updated technology.

ABT Sportsline is one of the companies that are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Audi 80/A4 range as it is one of the most popular cars to be upgraded and tuned. Their newest creation focuses on the recently facelifted Audi A4 B8 and increases performance in terms of power, handling, and aerodynamics.

“The A4 is an important car for us, too. It always re-defines the premium standard for medium-sized cars,” says Hans-Jürgen Abt. “Our AS4 is definitely state-of-the-art. It combines sportiness and assertiveness.”

With the new ABT AS4, the German tuner provides engine upgrades for the S4, diesel V-6, and 2.0 TFSI variants. The supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine used in the Audi S4 gets pushed from 333 horsepower to a whopping 435 horsepower with ABT engine technology. This helps the sedan reach 62 mph in just 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 175 mph. For the 3.0-liter V-6 TDI, output increases to 282 hp and 413 lb-ft. (560 Nm) of torque with ABT Sportsline tuning. The tried and true 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder in the Audi A4 B8 gets a boost from 211 hp to 275 hp with a little ABT Power magic. Each of the engine upgrade programs is endurance tested to ensure maximum reliability for the three engine choices.

In terms of aerodynamics, ABT Sportsline designed a number of exterior upgrades to improve downforce for high speed stability on the Audi A4 B8. After Audi’s mild exterior refresh, the A4 wore a sharper, modern fascia. With this as the starting point, ABT Sportsline designed a front spoiler with precise angles to match the stock styling and improve downforce. The ABT AS4 also features new side skirts that mirror the character line along each door and fender inserts that resemble vents. At the rear sits a new bumper insert that can accommodate the quad-exhaust system and a trunk spoiler to improve downforce at the rear axle.
All of the standard wheels and tires can also be replaced with the ABT AS4. Two choices of wheels are available from ABT Sportsline; the alloy CR Silverlight or alloy DR in 19- or 20-inch sizes. Each option also comes with high-speed sport tires for better grip and handling performance.

The full ABT AS4 upgrade package is currently available for all facelifted Audi A4 B8 models from ABT Sportsline.

The little things make all the difference.

The little things make all the difference.

The Audi A6 C6 was the German automaker’s midsize sedan that combined elements of sport with advanced all-wheel drive and luxury, and made its debut in 2004. In 2008, Audi released a facelifted version of the Audi A6 C6 that included modern LED lighting, new intakes, and updated engines.

JMS Tuning has unveiled a redesigned kit that gives the Audi a new face. For all A6 models excluding the S-Line, JMS designed a new front bumper. The revised bumper is noticeably more aggressive due to the protruding spoiler lip at the bottom that helps to reduce downforce. The addition of the new front spoiler also visually lowers the single-frame grille, giving the impression of power and muscle.

In order to back up the sportier looks of the facelifted Audi A6 C6, JMS Tuning installed a new wheel and suspension setup. The German tuner chose to stick with the “Euro” look by fitting mesh ASA AR1 RS race wheels in a 8.5 x 19 front and rear fitment. Each of the four ASA AR1 RS wheels were equipped with new 245/35/19 sport tires for better grip and performance. The Audi A6 C6 was also given a more agile suspension thanks to a new KW stainless steel coilover kit. The Version 1 kit lowers the overall ride height by 60 mm at the front and 50 mm at the rear for a better center of gravity.

All of the Audi A6 C6 upgrades are currently available from JMS Tuning. The redesigned front apron is available for € 239 (+/- 313 USD) and can fit on all non S-line models. The KW coilover kit can be purchased for € 1,099 (+/- 1,440 USD), and the wheel and tire package is available for € 1,999 (+/- 2,600 USD).

Sporty aerodynamics for the 5 Series.

Sporty aerodynamics for the 5 Series.

Was there ever a car, part, or product in the automotive world where the letter “R” was used that wasn’t good? After all, the “R” versions of cars tend to be the most sought after for their performance. That trend continues with the newest Prior Design BMW aerodynamic body kit for the F10 5 Series.

Just recently, Prior Design unveiled an aerodynamic body kit aimed to improve the looks of the F10 5 Series. After its release, Prior Design decided to turn things up a notch and released the PD-R BMW F10 5 Series aerodynamic body kit.

The PD-R Prior Design BMW body kit is a sportier version of the previous Prior Design BMW 5 Series kit. The front bumper is designed after the M3’s wide air intakes and wears a contrasting black spoiler at the bottom to improve downforce. Along each side of the 5 Series sit larger side skirts that visually lower the car and redirect air away from the wheels for less drag. The PD-R kit also includes a rear spoiler that accommodates the dual exhaust outlets on the 5 Series models. In addition, customers can order a roof spoiler as part of the PD-R package to improve rear end stability at high speeds.

The entire Prior Design BMW PD-R kit can be ordered as a complete package or as individual accessories. The front bumper is available for € 799 (+/- 1,040 USD), the side skirts for € 499 (+/- 650 USD), the rear add-on spoiler for € 399 (+/- 520 USD), and the optional roof spoiler for € 249 (+/- 325 USD). All of the parts come with mounting material or can be installed at the Prior Design factory. The PD-R kit is designed to fit all F10 BMW 5 Series models except the M5.

Sexy and sinister.

Sexy and sinister.

Vorsteiner has recently unveiled its latest aerodynamic and exhaust program for the F10 BMW 5 Series. Called the VMS F10, the new kit makes the 5 Series a dark, diabolical German sedan that slices through air with a roaring exhaust note.

The Vorsteiner BMW VMS F10 body kit is comprised of pre-preg carbon fiber body work that is designed to fit on the factory M-Tech aero package. At the front sits a F10 VMS carbon fiber spoiler that helps to reduce lift, improve air cooling, and create a more aggressive fascia. A rear trunk spoiler balances the downforce with the front axle. The VMS F10 package is completed with a rear diffuser that snaps onto the stock bumper and accommodates the aftermarket exhaust system.

The Vorsteiner F10 5 Series also features in-house designed forged wheels in 20- and 21-inch diameters. The five-spoke wheels feature a slight concave to showcase the car’s power, and can be fitted in a 9.5J x 20 front and 10.5J x 20 rear setup or 9.5J x 21 front and 11J x 21 rear fitment. The forged wheels also help to reduce weight at the hub, thus improving the overall driving performance of the 5 Series.

For the non-M F10 models, Vorsteiner developed a sports exhaust system that produces a dyno-tested 12 horsepower increase in output. The cat-back exhaust system can be bolted on to the factory system and features dual mufflers with quad tips and laser-etched logos. The resulting of the upgrade is a deep, resonating sound that gives the F10 a new attitude on the road.

The entire Vorsteiner BMW F10 VMS system is currently available as an entire package or as individual accessories for non-M5 models. Pricing has not been released.

Sharp and stunning style.

Sharp and stunning style.

The new W212 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a relatively conservative design when compared with the rest of the automotive industry. It still, however, gives off a sense of power and sport with its sharp-angled styling cues. Prior Design was able to emphasize those characteristics and improve the car’s overall aerodynamic properties with the new PD500 body kit.

The new PD500 Prior Design body kit for the W212 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan slices through air with its muscular design. The aerodynamic body kit was developed to match the original sharp-edged styling of the W212 while creating a more aggressive look.

The Prior Design Mercedes W212 body kit features four separate parts and completely transforms the look of the sedan. The front features a new front bumper with larger air intakes and accommodates the stock LED daytime running lights. The bumper extends outwards, where the design is continued with a pair of side skirts that run to the rear fender. Instead of the clean, stock rear bumper, the Prior Design Mercedes PD500 bumper is more aggressive and features a dual exhaust cutout.

All of the Prior Design body kit components come complete with mounting material and are made with OEM quality. Pricing for the complete PD500 kit has not been released.

Just in time for winter.

Just in time for winter.

Winter is in full effect for most of the northern hemisphere of the globe and to celebrate, Kicherer is introducing a strictly limited White Edition for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. If your idea of snow driving involves oversteer in a rear-wheel drive V-8 monster, this white-themed car is for you.

The Kicherer C63 AMG White Edition is all about the driving experience. Rather than dress up the sedan in a satin black finish like the past few Kicherer models, the German tuner gave the C63 a white and black color scheme. The front of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG features a new fascia with larger front air intake, LED daytime running lights, and a carbon fiber grille with piano lacquer finish. New side skirts with piano black accents emphasize performance and visually lower the sedan. At the rear sits a new carbon fiber diffuser in piano black finish for better aerodynamics.

Under the hood of the Kicherer Mercedes C63 AMG White Edition sits a tuned 6.2-liter V-8 engine. The hand-built engine was given a new software tune, stainless steel flap-controlled exhaust system, and a limited-slip differential to create a thrilling driving experience full of grip. After the upgrades, the engine is capable of producing 520 brake horsepower and 457 lb-ft. of torque.

Kicherer also focused on creating a more dynamic driving experience for the C63 AMG White Edition. The stock wheels were replaced with lightweight 20-inch Kicherer RS 1 forged wheels and given 245 front and 275 rear performance tires for better grip. The entire suspension benefits from adjustable high-performance coilovers for improved handling. Bringing things to a halt are high-performance Brembo brakes with stainless steel braided lines.

The stock interior was transformed by Kicherer with white leather and special stitching. All of the seats were fitted with exclusive black and white Nappa leather and given white stitching. The steering wheel, center console, dashboard, and door panels were also outfitted in a mixture of black and white leather with contrasting white stitching.

Only ten of the Kicherer Mercedes C63 AMG White Edition models will be produced. Pricing for the super sedan have not been released.

Blown AMG V-8. Enough said.

Blown AMG V-8. Enough said.

The 6.2-liter V-8 developed and hand-built by AMG has been known as one of the most viscous V-8s currently used in German performance cars. The engine is also known for its character, reminding drivers of a classic American muscle car V-8 with German refinement. German tuner, Väth, has taken the 6.2-liter V-8 in the C63 AMG and given it a new supercharger system that whines with power and shreds asphalt.

Named the Väth V63, the new tuning program is a supercharged, aerodynamic performance monster. The engine was given the V63Supercharged upgrade from Väth that includes a new supercharger with yellow-painted intake manifold, special Väth water intercooling system, special engine and oil cooling system, and individualized engine ECU tuning. To reduce backpressure and let the monster roar, Väth installed a stainless-steel exhaust system with sport mufflers and throttle control.

The result of the V63Supercharged upgrade is a thunderous 680 horsepower and 620 lb-ft. of torque. The increase in power propels the supercharged C63 AMG to 62 mph 4.0 seconds and to a white-knuckle top speed of 208.16 mph (335 km/h).

Due to the fact that the Väth V63 is capable of breaking the 200 mph barrier, the German tuner was forced to develop new aerodynamic components to keep the sedan stable at such high speeds. Carbon fiber became the chosen material because of its high-strength and low weight, and used to create new front and rear spoilers. The rear was also given a visible carbon fiber diffuser. Väth then extended the rear track by 80 mm for better grip with new carbon fiber rear fenders.

Filling in the widened wheel arches are a new set of three-piece mesh forged wheels measuring 9 x 20 up front and 11 x 20 at the rear. The front pair are fitted with 255/30 R 20 high-performance tires, while the rear was given a pair of 295/25 R 20s. A Clubsport coilover suspension system allows for a range of adjustable settings and can lower the car by 20 – 65 mm. Bringing the supercharged C63 AMG to a stop are new high-performance brakes with 380 mm rotors, stainless steel braided lines, and high-performance fluid.

As part of the Väth V63 upgrade program, customers also have the option to choose from a variety of interior refinements. The standard leather steering wheel can be replaced with a wood or carbon fiber unit, and the speedometer can be extended to 360 km/h. Even the stock trim pieces can be replaced with carbon fiber material for a sportier appearance.

The entire Väth V63 supercharger program (without car) for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is currently available for € 64,308 (+/- 84,000 USD). As part of the program, the German tuner provides a no questions asked ten day test drive with the car.
