World Chariot Racing Association and Celebrity Farms
Between high-speed spins around the racetrack, enjoy custom racing-inspired chariots and thoroughbred horses courtesy of Celebrity Farms.
Dedicated to rebranding harness racing as a sport with as much thrill and excitement as auto racing, the World Chariot Racing Association creates high-end happenings bringing together connoisseurs of fine sporting events around the world. Chairman Sam Stathis, owner of Celebrity Farms, will show you how one horsepower can be just as electrifying as 600 horsepower.
“I’ve sat behind fast cars, fast boats, and fast planes and I can attest that one horse power is just as exciting as 600. And if the excitement is not enough to win you over, the byproduct of our one horsepower is not detrimental to the environment, it helps to nurture it.” Stathis says.
Made up of breeders, owners, trainers, drivers, tracks, fans, media groups and corporate sponsors, the association also seeks to lead the field in the green revolution, spreading the word of ecological sustainability in both chariot racing and auto sports. The World Chariot Association also supports multiple charitable organizations, including The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, The University of Michigan Linda Dolce Scleroderma Research Fund and The Chris Vasiliou Memorial Foundation.
