The SRT Viper GTS-Rs get their new Livery for ALMS!

SRT Viper GTS-R Livery

Bringing the bite to Mid-Ohio.

Ever since the new SRT Viper was introduced at the begging of April by SRT President and CEO, Ralph Gilles, we’ve been incredibly excited for the American super car to make its debut in the American Le Mans Series. Well, the wait is just about over.

On Twitter, Ralph Gilles unveiled the new livery for the two SRT Viper GTS-R models that will be running in ALMS. The drawings were made on July 12th by Alan Macey and will be painted on July 16th. The No. 91 car will sport Forza livery and logos with cobalt blue and silver paint while the No. 93 will wear Pennzoil logos with a yellow and silver paint scheme.

Both of the SRT Viper GTS-R race cars will make their debut on August 4th in the American Le Mans Series at Mid-Ohio in the GT Class against race cars such as the Porsche 911, Aston Martin Vantage, Lotus Evora, Ferrari 458 Italia, BMW M3 GT, and Corvette C6.R. Of course, the battle that everyone will be paying close attention to is the one waged between the new SRT Viper GTS-Rs and the Corvette C6.Rs.

Make sure to clear your schedule for Saturday, August 4th for the American Le Mans Series at Mid-Ohio. Also, give Ralph Gilles a follow on twitter. He’s one of the coolest executives in the automotive industry.
