The Ring Queen goes electric.

At the 2010 Paris Motor Show, Exagon Motors introduced the new Furtive-eGT electic sports car. Unlike most of the small, boutique-style automakers with all-electric or hybrid sports/luxury cars that have gone bankrupt, Exagon is moving forward with plans on unveiling the production model at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

But before the production model is unveiled to the public, they thought the “Ring Queen,” Sabine Schmitz should take the new electric sports car around the legendary Nürburgring. Now, Schmitz is known for her skills with BMWs and other high-performance internal-combustion cars, but an all-electric model is a bit different for her, although she proves why she is referred to as the “Queen of the Ring” by pushing the car to its limit.

The new Exagon Furtive-eGT should be able to go 0-60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds, have a range of over 150 miles at 68 mph, and offer a range-extending engine. From the sounds of things, Schmitz doesn’t think they have to do much to the chassis of the upcoming production car after taking it around the Nürburgring.
