Edo Competition DBS Aston Martin Exposed

Yes, the DBS gets even better.

The biggest dilemma facing the Edo Competition team was how to make an already stunning British high-performance sports car like the DBS even better. Well, you keep one of the best designs in the industry and give it striking race wheels, a custom interior, and of course more POWER!

Pumping out 510 horsepower from a mighty 6.0-liter V-12 and accelerating to 62 mph in just 4.3 seconds stock, the Aston Martin DBS is an impressive performer. The Edo Competition DBS however, will knock the cufflinks off of you. With a recalibrated engine management system, a new stainless steel exhaust, and high flow air filters the Edo Competition DBS creates a tire-screeching 550 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This allows the Edo Competition DBS to accelerate to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds and fly to a top speed of 199 mph – 13 mph faster than the stock DBS. The Edo Competition DBS also improves the baritone sound of the V-12 with a high performance stainless steel exhaust featuring butterfly exhaust valves. A programmable control system monitors backpressure, and opens the butterfly valve when a set level of backpressure is exceeded. This allows for increased low-end torque, superb top-end horsepower, and a deafening roar.

Even greater driving dynamics are achieved with a new sports suspension. At high speeds the Edo Competition DBS is stable and comfortable while improving handling and grip. Drivers can customize the suspension for an optimal setup thanks to adjustable height, compression, and rebound damping. Optional lowering springs are available and lower the DBS by an additional 30 mm, improving the car’s center of gravity.

Accentuating the beautiful design of the DBS is a set of bold three-piece race wheels hiding a high performance brake system. The 21-inch wheels feature an artificially aged cast center-section, hand-polished outer rims, and 39 stainless steel screws. Customers have an option of stock tire dimensions or 255/30 ZR 21 front and 295/25 ZR 21 rear Continental tires for outstanding grip. High performance 6-piston front and 4-piston rear monoblock calipers and steel brake lines have been fitted with 16-inch rotors at the front and 15-inch rotors at the rear for unrelenting stopping power.

A completely customizable interior greets driver and passenger, featuring a carbon fiber shifter and shifter console. Customers can create an interior dressed in any material, including handmade leather, in a full spectrum of colors.

Pricing and availability for the drop-dead gorgeous sports car has not been released.
