Sounds like a party on the runway!
So, you want to test your company’s new $1,000+ RC helicopter to see how fast it can go. What better way than to enlist the services of an empty runway, a Suzuki GSX-R1000, and a Lamborghini Murciélago LP640-4, right?
Well, the team at Align did just that to see how fast their T-REX 700E DFC helicopter could go in a drag race between all three vehicles. The results are actually quite surprising, and may have a few of us thinking about modifying RC helicopters rather than cars or motorcycles for speed (great way to race for pinks). But that’s not even the most exciting part of the story. According to the YouTube comments, the driver of the Lamborghini misjudged the end of the runway and ended up getting into a pretty bad accident that will likely total the car.
Moral of the story: Don’t race your Lamborghini against an ALIGN T-REX 700E DFC. You’ll crash, dude.
