Mansory Swings for the Fences with the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG

Dropping the hammer.

Mansory is known for their incredibly ostentatious and extravagant upgrade programs for high-end vehicles and exotics. Their recipe for adding on all sorts of carbon fiber, rare materials, and insane amounts of power in a flashy package can often be polarizing but they are no doubt incredible. Their latest work with the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG is a little more subtle in the styling department but nothing short of excessive when it comes to performance.

Visually, the Mansory Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG is more dynamic and commanding with its new carbon fiber bodywork but not something that will knock your socks off at first glance. A new front spoiler helps to generate downforce and seamlessly meshes with the new LED daytime running lights, badge-less grille, and hood. Each of the front fenders were slightly widened to emphasize muscle and connect to new side skirts while carbon fiber side mirror covers sit above. Downforce is generated at the rear thanks to a new roof spoiler and trunk spoiler while a new apron with diffuser design sits beneath and adds a more menacing presence with the integrated angular stainless steel twin tailpipes.

Filling in those brawny fenders is a range of Mansory-designed wheels from the sport-oriented to those with a more luxurious style. The featured wheel set for the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG are one-piece, 22-inch multi-spoke wheels with 255/30/ZR22 front and 295/25/ZR22 rear Vredestein tires and a matching black finish.

Customers have the delightful option of selecting two flavors of extreme power conversions from Mansory for the twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 M157 engine. The first conversion is the M800 which boosts output to 800 horsepower at 4,750 RPM and an electronically-limited 885 lb-ft. of torque from 1,700 to 3,500. This allows the Mansory S 63 AMG to reach 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds from rest compared to the factory 4.0-second figure.

The biggest and baddest version is the Mansory M1000. Here, Mansory replaces the factory connecting rods, bearings, crankshaft, bearing bushings, turbochargers, intake system, and other parts, then adds in a new ECU software tune that results in a whopping 1,000 horsepower and 1,032 lb-ft. of torque from 1,500 to 3,500 RPM. That boost gives the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG the ability to make the same 0-62 mph sprint in just 3.2 seconds and reach an electronically-limited top speed of 186 mph.

As with all of their conversions, Mansory can make the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG a custom-tailored place of extravagant wealth and comfort. Options such as aluminum pedals, new steering wheels, leather-framed floor mats, illuminated door sill trims, and more. On the featured vehicle, Mansory installed a special wood veneer trim along with a soft black and white leather combination with contrasting stitching designs.

The new Mansory Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG is currently available as a complete conversion. Pricing has not been released.
