Power and prestige for roaming the desert.

While many of the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMGs roaming around the world are relegated to high-end shopping malls and city streets, their off-road capabilities are undeniable. Mansory was able to emphasize those in a high-end package with their Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG Sahara Edition with a camouflaged carbon fiber body, tuned engine, and luxurious interior. You know, just in case someone wants to use them properly.

The camo-clad Mansory G 63 AMG Sahara Edition is designed for off-road but built for power and comfort. The entire body reconstruction uses in-house manufactured carbon fiber parts to keep weight to a minimum. The front fascia of the SUV features a new off-road bumper with integrated underride protection while a new camouflage grille proudly displays the Mansory logo. Flanking the grille are new headlights aided by a set of four roof-mounted spotlights. New recessed indicator lights shine through nine pinhole-sized openings beneath the new spotlights.

Adding to the off-road DNA are newly-extended fenders at the front and rear that are connected by a set of side skirts. An extra 40 mm in width is gained with the new fenders, lending to a more masculine look, especially with the new desert camouflage paint scheme. At the rear of the Mansory G 63 AMG Sahara Edition, a new bumper integrates the extended fenders seamlessly into the rear design while a new roof spoiler sits up top.

Next up in the transformation was a new set of wheels. For the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG Sahara Edition, Mansory installed a set of their multi-spoke wheels measuring 22 inches and wearing 305/35/22 tires to provide the perfect balance between ride quality and style. The tuner also offers other wheel styles ranging from 21- to 23-inches in diameter.

To blaze through the desert sands, Mansory took the 5.5-liter V-8 engine up a notch in the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG. The twin-turbocharged V-8 was completely rebuilt with new motorsports components such as pistons, connecting rods, bearings, crankshaft, and more along with a complete stainless steel exhaust system with side exits. All that is good for a whopping 828 horsepower and electronically-limited 738 lb-ft. of desert dune ass kicking.

But the Mansory G 63 AMG Sahara Edition isn’t all about hardcore off-road power. Inside is a prestigious cabin with a wealth of custom-tailored refinements. The entire dashboard and center console were redesigned with a falcon and camouflage style. New marble camouflage leather adorns the cockpit and seats with headrests sporting a falcon and wings on the side bolsters. A new steering wheel, gear shifter, gauges, and more add an exclusive touch.

The new Mansory Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG Sahara Edition is currently available as a complete transformation. Pricing has not been released.
