Mansory’s Maserati GranTurismo tuning program Exposed

This is what happens when Mansory plays with sharp three-pointed objects.

Located in Brand, Bavaria, Mansory has a collection of high-end brands in their tuning portfolio ranging from Bugatti to Rolls Royce. The company’s latest tuning program adds another brand to the stable, one that brings forth a unique combination of sport and luxury and proudly displays a sharp trident, Maserati. The new Mansory GranTurismo program is what customers have come to expect from the tuning company with an in-your-face transformation and untamed power to back it up.

The first glaring aspect of the Mansory GranTurismo tuning program is the furious expression the GranTurismo wears. A redesigned front bumper emphasizes the look with relocated fog lights and a striking LED lighting system that flanks the large grille. A carbon fiber radiator grille emphasizes the bold Maserati trident at its center, while a carbon fiber spoiler lip further adds to the sportiness. A new lightweight hood features dramatic air inlets and outlets for improved engine cooling. The athletic prowess of the GranTurismo is highlighted by carbon fiber door sills that give a more muscular and sculpted appearance, while a carbon fiber spoiler, diffuser, and rear apron complete the transformation.

The exterior tuning program does not stop with the bodywork. Mansory has become the first company to market forged wheels exclusively for the Maserati GranTurismo. These wheels don’t just come with a boring factory finish either. Instead, Mansory will color match the wheels to the body color with added contrasting black elements. To complete the fitment, new 255/30 R 20 front and 305/30 R 21 rear tires are fitted for added performance, while a new progressive sport suspension lowers the GranTurismo by 30 mm.

The package isn’t all show for the Mansory GranTurismo and GranTurismo S. Both models receive a power bump and a more vocal exhaust system for the 4.2- and 4.7-liter V-8s. The 405 and 440 horsepower engines each receive an optimized ECU, air filter, and sports exhaust system with double-suction tailpipes for an additional 30 horsepower and 30 lb-ft of torque.

Inside is where Mansory really shows off their skills with a lavish interior. Mansory’s own brand of upholstery decorates the cabin featuring supple leather with chequered stitching in the ornamental seams. The handcrafted interior also caters to the Maserati’s sport-oriented dynamics with new aluminum pedals and an ergonomic steering wheel.

Mansory has a history of not holding back when it comes to extravagant tuning ranges, but the tuning program for the GranTurismo line is one of the company’s more subtle designs that highlights the model’s features. No pricing has been released for the program, but expect it to vary with the wide array of custom options – we’ll take ours in red please.
