We’ve come to love and enjoy a great deal of what Fondmetal has been creating the past few months, and it’s easy to see why thanks to their craftsmanship and quality. Their latest collaboration with mbDESIGN is hitting the American market and is looking to have quite the impact – just take this Audi R8 as an exciting example.
The new KV1 wheel follows a superb formula for success as it’s engineered in Germany by mbDESIGN, made in Italy by Fondmetal, and worn by the best in America.
The KV1 wheel from Fondmetal and mbDESIGN features a classic five-spoke design that has a chiseled definition with each spoke extending to the outside edge of the rim instead of the lip. A concave depth adds to the performance-minded design of the lightweight alloy wheels making them a perfect fit for any sports car.
On this featured Audi R8 chillin’ on the streets of Long Beach, CA, the new mbDESIGN KV1 wheels were installed in a wide 9.0 x 20 +34 front and 12.0 x 20 +42 rear setup with sticky 245/30 R20 and 325/25 R20 Pirelli P Zero tires, respectively. A custom Graphite on Black finish draws attention in the same way that the new aerodynamics and sharp side blades garner looks, making them the ideal complement.
The new TUV-certified, German-engineered and Italian-made mbDESIGN KV1 wheels made in collaboration with Fondmetal is starting to make quite the impact on American streets, and are currently available from Fondmetal USA.
