Startech Makes the Bentley Bentayga Big n’ Bad!

Beefin’ up the SUV.

Up until the Bentley Bentayga, there was so such thing as an ultra-luxury SUV. Now there is. The high-class, high-tech British machine is designed to go anywhere with more capability and cargo space than your average Bentley. But, the team at Startech is making it one bad road-going machine.

While the new Startech Bentley Bentayga might not come packed with an engine tuning kit (yet), it covers virtually everything else from the OEM-quality PUR-RIM body kit to the chassis, and interior.

The new body kit can be had in either standard or widebody form, with unique bumpers and components assigned to each. The Startech Bentayga features a new front bumper that includes an integrated spoiler to replace the factory underride guard. The air intakes integrated into the bumper are designed to match the front honeycomb grille and allow more air into the engine bay and brakes. Special air deflectors help to generate additional downforce up front as well.

Along each side, the standard body kit gives the Bentayga new air outlets that can be had in naked carbon fiber for a more athletic look. These can be paired up with extended front and rear fenders with bespoke bumpers as part of the widebody kit, which also includes a set of connecting skirts to visually lower the ride height of the British SUV.

At the rear, the Startech Bentley Bentayga wears a new bumper with integrated diffuser, which accommodates the available factory trailer hitch if needed. An LED rear fog light and backup light are also installed and draw upon the units found in today’s F1 racers. A new spoiler lip helps to generate downforce and blends in with the factory design language.

Protruding from the rear bumper are four tailpipes that are part of the Startech stainless steel full exhaust system. The system not only gives the twin-turbo 6.0-liter W-12 engine of the Bentley Bentayga a more aggressive sound, but allows drivers to alter the sound profiles at the touch of a button thanks to integrated electronic sound management.

Startech also has a set of forged wheels that can fil in those wheel arches of the Bentayga, in standard or widebody spec. The Startech Monostar S wheels measure a hefty 10.5 x 23 at both axles and are shod in 295/35 ZR23 Continental SportContact 6 tires that are designed specifically for SUVs that can exceed 186 mph.

Also adding to the athleticism of the Startech Bentley Bentayga is a module for the factory air suspension. The upgrade allows drivers to reduce the ride height up to 25 mm lower than the factory setting for a considerably lower center of gravity. The module does keep the four factory ride height settings as well.

Inside, Startech promises to give every owner the ability to custom-tailor the entire cabin with an array of materials in an almost never-ending range of colors. The Bentayga can also be given new backlit scuff plates, an aluminum foot pedal set, and velour floor mats.
