Aston Martin ends 2010 with three new special editions

Three new DB9s just in time for the holidays.

Remember the Aston Martin Carbon Black DBS and V12 Vantage? How about the motorsport-inspired V8 Vantage N420? Well Aston Martin has introduced three more special edition DB9s to end the year: the luxurious Morning Frost; the sporty Carbon Black; and James Bond-inspired Quantum Silver.

The DB9 Morning Frost is all about luxury with a deep metallic bronze leather headliner, perforated seat centers, and beautiful Piano Black center console and door grabs. The exterior is highlighted by special 19-inch silver diamond-turned ten-spoke wheels that show off the new silver brake calipers. The front end is finished by special magnum silver grilles for an unmistakable and classy look.

The DB9 Carbon Black and Quantum Silver editions focus more on sport with a new retuned exhaust to unleash a glorious exhaust note. Both models come standard with Aston Martin’s six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission, contributing to a perfect 50:50 weight distribution. Semi-aniline leather roof lining, coarse silver stitching, perforated seat inserts, and polished glass switchgear adorns the interior of both the Carbon Black and Quantum Silver, while both exteriors feature black grilles, graphite tailpipes, and 19-inch forged gloss black diamond-turned ten-spoke wheels. The Quantum Silver DB9 wears a unique Quantum Silver paint that was made famous by James Bond in the movie Quantum of Solace, while the Carbon Black is dressed in special edition Carbon Black paint.

All three models are currently available from Aston Martin and feature a laser-etched sill plaque with the special edition nameplate and wing insignia.
