Added refinement and power for an even better ride.

Bentey’s Continental lineup has been its most successful and popular for quite some time, and they’ve updated the entire range with more power, greater efficiency, and more refinement inside and out. The British automaker listened to its customer’s desires and has made their Continental GT and Flying Spur family even better.

Bentley offers uncompromised luxury and performance with ultimate comfort for grand touring and our new 2015 features extend the appeal of our family,” said Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors. “We listen carefully to our customers, and with these new evolutions we’re making our cars even more stylish, efficient, connected and useable every day.”

The changes start with the Bentley Continental GT range. The grand tourer is more confident, exclusive, and commanding on the road with its refreshed exterior design. A new bumper sits up front sporting a smaller radiator shell and larger intake vents that seamlessly flow into the more muscular front fenders. Here, new vents with a metallic flying “B” draws attention to the power line that runs towards the rear fenders along the doors. Both the Continental V8 S and W12 models also gain new bright chrome fender badges similar to those on the GT Speed.

The rear is also more dynamic on the Bentley Continental GT models. A clean and sculpted trunk features an aerodynamic trailing edge to generate a bit of downforce while a widened bumper emphasizes power and wears new brightware. Both the V8 S and GT Speed models also boast a new diffuser.

The wheel lineup also expands for the Continental GT models. The standard GT V8 and W12 models sport a standard 20-inch, six-tri-spoke wheels with a painted finish on the V8 and bright machined finish for the W12. Customers of the Mulliner Driving Specification gets a 21-inch seven twin-spoke design in Graphite Grey with bright machined spokes while a 21-inch five-spoke directional sport wheels is available for the V8 S. A new Marlin, Camel, and Jetstream paint colors also become available for the GT.

The interior of the Continental GT range also gets more comfortable, modern, and convenient. A straight-fluting leather stitching pattern comes standard while Mulliner Driving Specification models feature a tight “small diamond” quilting pattern is worn by the seats. Drivers benefit from a more ergonomic, sport steering wheel with larger gearshift paddles and tactile knurled metal embellishers for a touch of class. New brightware is worn on the consoles while new, modern dials and graphics face the driver. The entire cabin is illuminated by LED lights for a cozy atmosphere. The V8 and V8 S coupe models both gain a hidden storage compartment between the rear seats that can charge electronic devices during driving.

In addition to the standard updates, new options also are available for the facelifted models. The GT W12 and GT Speed can be outfitted with soft semi-aniline leather on the seat cushions and backrests in any standard color or the new Shortbread and Camel tones. The GT V8 S and GT W12 models can also be equipped with an Alcantara headliner matched to any of the 17 leather colors.

Changes also come underneath the skin of the Bentley Continental GT W12s. The 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged W-12 engine goes from 567 bhp and 516 lb-ft. of torque up to 582 bhp and 531 lb-ft. of torque. The added power doesn’t come with a penalty in efficiency either. Fuel economy improves by up to 5-percent thanks to a variable displacement system that allows the engine to run on six cylinders under less load without sacrificing refinement.

The Bentley Continental Flying Spur wasn’t left out of the update game either. The four-door sedan gains a new 20-inch six-tri-spoke wheel on the Muliner in polished or Graphite painted with bright machined finishes. New Marlin, Camel, and Jetstream colors are also available to customers like the GT models.
