Putting down some American power.

In the world of super cars and exotics there’s one car that slips under the radar and slays the competition flying the red, white, and blue. The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has it all from the power to the looks. It’s one bad American and this 2015 model got even badder thanks to ACG Automotive and Brixton Forged.

The Southern California-based ACG Automotive has been having quite a bit of fun with the new C7-generation Chevrolet Corvettes, and the supercharged V-8 in the Z06 offers up quite a bit of potential. This 2015 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 option package got the works after it came in for a full overhaul and some “minor” performance upgrades.

The sculpted figure of the American sports car was taken to the next level with a full APR carbon aero package. The kit includes a new front lip, wheel arch moldings, hood and fender vents, side skirts, rear diffuser, and stage 3 spoiler with wicker bill to optimize cooling and generate downforce.

Next up in the visual department was a new set of Brixton Forged M53 Mono Series wheels. The one-piece forged wheels feature lightweight backpad pocketing that reduces rotating mass for better overall performance. Up front, the wheels measure 10.0 x 19 while the rear comes in at a staggered 12.0 x 20 setup with an individual weight of just 19.8 lbs. Matching the eye-catching exterior paint scheme is the Brushed Smoke Black color with matte clear finish worn by each Brixton Forged M53 Mono Series wheels.

And while the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a stunner, it has loads of pure American muscle hiding under its hood thanks to ACG Automotive. The factory 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 was boosted from the stock 650 horsepower to a “minor” 1,000+ horsepower thanks to a new Halltech performance intake and Vengeance performance tune for the ECU.
