“The Ultimate Race”
June 13th marks the start of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race. The race is one of the most incredible motorsports events around the world to behold. Public roads are added to a permanent circuit to create a 13.629 km (8.47 mi.) track with long straights, twists, and turns, providing the perfect setting for an automotive battle.
For 24 hours, drivers, teams, and cars battle in different classes with the same goal: taking the checkered flag. Being able to finish the race is an achievement in and of itself with the accidents, broken parts, failures, etc. that occur throughout the 24-hour period.
Legends are made here. It’s a true test of man and machine. Teams from four different racing series around the world will converge along with the motorsports world to crown a winner on June 14th.
