Pick One: White or Black Audi TT-RS by HPerformance

HPerformance Audi TT-RS Coupe

Two coupes with 1,000 horsepower, total.

HPerformance had a pair of Audi TT-RS Coupes from two customers that were looking for more performance. The cars may look very different on the outside, but underneath they’re pretty similar and pump out quite a bit of power – 1,000 horsepower in fact, between the two of them.

The two Audi TT-RS Coupes; one glossy white and the other matte black have had their turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five cylinder engines tuned for fun. Both cars benefit from an HPerformance stainless steel exhaust system with one car getting an 80-mm turboback pipe and the other sporting two 76-mm pipes. The two exhaust systems feature a set of HJS racing catalytic converters and adjustable valves that can be operated by either a key or remote control. The 2.5-liter engines also gain a new aluminum intercooler, HPXT-510 turbocharger, and HPerformance street suction system that includes RAM air charging, optimized intake manifold, and 80-mm piping. A new ECU tune coupled with special spark plugs result in a total of 500 horsepower and 487 lb-ft. of torque. As an option, customers can choose to boost power up to 524 lb-ft. of torque.

All that extra power meant that HPerformance had to upgrade some other parts of the drivetrain. The glossy white Audi TT-RS gained an HPerformance clutch upgrade with single-mass flywheel, reinforced pressure plate, and sintered metal friction washer. It’s DSG-equipped, matte black sibling was fitted with a new Stage 3 DSG adaptation. Both TT-RS Coupes were then given a set of Bilstein B16 coilovers and H&R stabilizers to slice through corners at high speeds. Bringing things to a halt are new carbon ceramic brakes from the Audi R8 GT and new stainless steel flex brake lines.

All of the upgrades shown on the Audi TT-RS Coupes are available from HPerformance. The German company is also working on a 700-horsepower tuning program for the TT-RS that will be unveiled at a later date.
