Time lapse fun!
The official race day for the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is right around the corner. On Sunday, June 30th, teams will gather at the base of the mountain as they attempt to race up the 12.42-mile long track with 156 turns.
This year, Peugeot is looking to take the title as top dog in the race with Sebastian Loeb behind the wheel of their absolutely crazy 208 T16 Pikes Peak racecar. The car was engineered from scratch so that the team could create the perfect racer without any restrictions.
Before testing began, the Peugeot team built the entire car from scratch and filmed it to create a 30-second video. The team didn’t actually build the car in 30 seconds, but thanks to time-lapse, they did!
