Sliding through the wet streets.
The devastation from Hurricane Sandy in the eastern part of the United States is incredible and something that none of us ever expected to witness in our lifetime. The destruction, property damage and loss of life are a terrible tragedy that we hope is never seen again. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those that were affected by Sandy.
While hurricane Sandy was being a b****, some brilliant people thought that it provided the perfect opportunity to drift their cars. The news cameras of WGAL in the Susquehanna Valley were lucky enough to capture a Toyota Corolla speeding through the streets and going sideways through a turn during a live broadcast and give some good commentary.
Another radio personality out of Rochester, NY was able to capture a 17-year old kid driving a Honda Civic go sideways, take out his mailbox, and end up in his front yard. Bill Moran, host of The Break Room on 96.5 WCMF was filming his son and his thoughts about Hurricane Sandy possibly cancelling his Halloween festivities when he was able to catch the Civic as it lost control.
Talk about being in the right place at the right time!
