Hofele Design Unveils the Strator GT 780 Audi Q7

All sorts of stuff for the German SUV.

The latest Audi Q7 facelift is on its way out as the rest of the Audi model lineup is shifting towards a more modern and contemporary design. But before Audi unveils its new SUV, Hofele Design is offering owners of the current facelifted models a chance to give their Q7 a new look and better performance with the Strator GT 780 upgrade program.

The new Strator GT 780 Audi Q7 aims to bring a bolder look to the German SUV for the Russian, Chinese, and North American markets. A new body kit was designed by Hofele Design and installed on the factory mounting points and partially glued. The kit features a new front bumper with four new fog lamps at the bottom, and larger air intakes that house the factory LED daytime running lights. Black inserts help to contrast the paint color and create a sportier appearance. Contributing to the more muscular stance is a set of wheel arch extensions for the front and rear axles that seamlessly integrate into both bumpers. The rear bumper was given a new appearance thanks to a diffuser insert with four integrated exhaust pipes.

The new Strator GT 780 and its aggressive styling is more than just a body kit. The Audi Q7 was also equipped with a new chassis that fills in those bulging wheel wells. The factory air suspension was outfitted with a new electronic lowering module that lowers the ride height automatically by 40 mm at speeds from 0-80 km/h. Upon reaching 80 km/h or faster, the system automatically reverts to the stock ride height for safety and stability. Sitting flush in the wheel wells are new Hofele Design Reverso II five-spoke wheels in a 9.0 x 20 front and 10.0 x 20 rear setup in a variety of custom colors and finishes.

The entire range of gasoline and diesel engines available in the Audi Q7 can be tuned by Hofele Design with the Strator GT 780 package. One example is the upgrade package for the 3.0 TDI that can be boosted to 318 horsepower and 442 lb-ft. of torque.

Inside, the German company offers a fully redesigned leather interior with stitched elements and ornamental seams on the seats, doors, arm rests, and steering wheel for a more luxurious driving experience.

The new Hofele Design Strator GT 780 is currently available for the Audi Q7 models post-facelift. The body kit can be purchased separately for 6,900 Euros including VAT.
