The ABT Sportsline AS5 Sportback is fun for everyone!

No engine left behind!

The Audi A5 Coupe has been nothing short of a success for the German automaker, so successful that they decided to make it into a “Sportback” with four doors for everywhere but the United States and Canada. For those lucky enough to have the coupe-like A5 Sportback, you’re about to get even luckier thanks to a new ABT Sportsline upgrade program aimed right at the A5 Sportback. The new ABT AS5 Sportback model is packed with all sorts of goodies and has tuning options for the full range of gasoline and diesel engines, ensuring there’s quite a bit of pep to go along with that style.

Making sure that the new ABT AS5 Sportback is fun for everyone is the new range of engine tuning. Starting with the gasoline engines, the 1.8 TFSI goes up from 170 hp and 236 lb-ft. of torque to 211 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of torque after some “ABT POWER”. The 2.0 TFSI undergoes a similar transformation, getting boosted from 211 hp/258 lb-ft. to a fun 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. The top-of-the-line 3.0 TFSI goes from an already thrilling 272 hp/295 lb-ft. to a whopping 380 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque. For the oil burners out there, ABT Sportsline offers the same tuning for the 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI engines. The 2.0 TDI goes from a stock 177 hp/280 lb-ft. to 205 hp/310 lb-ft. while the bigger 3.0 TDI goes from 245 hp/369 lb-ft. all the way to 300 horsepower and 420 lb-ft. of torque.

After all the fun engine tuning, the ABT AS5 Sportback can be paired up with some exciting chassis upgrades. Customers can choose from the in-house suspension springs that lower the ride height by 25 mm or a height-adjustable kit that can lower things by up to 50 mm. A set of new ABT front brakes consisting of 345 x 30 mm rotors up front or ABT Sport brakes with 380 x 34 mm discs can be installed as well. The final touch for the chassis is a set of either lightweight ABT CR or DR alloy wheels in 8.5 x 19 and 9.5 x 20 sizes paired up with corresponding sport tires and optional wheel spacers.

Finishing things up is a slick styling package for the Audi A5 Sportback. A front lip spoiler helps generate some extra downforce and improve cooling while extended fenders and decorative inlays add a touch of sporty style. A rear spoiler helps to keep that AS5 Sportback’s butt planted on the asphalt while a rear skirt insert with integrated ABT exhaust tips completes the athletic appearance.

All of the ABT AS5 Sportback upgrades are currently available for the entire range of Audi A5 Sportback models and can be ordered as an entire package or individual accessories.
