That car commercial that you didn’t expect.
This year, Seattle’s defense and car companies stole the show during the Super Bowl. We expected heavy doses of commercials from Hyundai, Ford, Chevrolet, and Chrysler, but one that we didn’t expect was from Maserati for their new Ghibli.
The new mid-sized, four-door Maserati Ghibli is going to start at an attractive $65,000 and was largely forgotten about until the Italian automaker snatched up a commercial spot at the start of the Super Bowl and wowed audiences with their beautiful new sedan.
The commercial does a great job of emphasizing the character of the Italian automaker and how they’re going to capitalize on how its bigger competitors have become complacent in their eyes. And that lovely exhaust note didn’t hurt either.
