The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT epitomizes American performance muscle in a big SUV package. A big-displacement HEMI engine powers all four wheels of the monstrous SUV as it obliterates the asphalt. It’s more raw and in-your-face than the high-performance SUVs from Germany, and GeigerCars has taken it to the next level in Deutschland with their Supercharged Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with all sorts of upgrades.
The massive, 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 that sits under the hood of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is a beast by itself with its 475 American ponies. But, GeigerCars added a bit of German power with their new supercharger kit that includes a 2.9-liter supercharger, intercooler, and various internal upgrades such as stronger pistons. As an option, a larger oil cooler can be installed for 1,430 Euros upon customer request. A new plug-in ECU software device alters fuel and ignition mapping to result in a whopping 718 horsepower and 527 lb-ft. of torque.
Those numbers are good enough to send the GeigerCars Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT to 62 mph from rest in just 3.9 seconds. Top speed is all the way back at 183 mph. Super cars better think twice before racing this American SUV with German power.
But this big, bad brute isn’t just about power. GeigerCars installed a new performance suspension with sport springs that lowers the overall center of gravity for better handling along with a set of larger anti-roll bars that reduce body roll through fast corners.
The next step was the wheel and tire setup for the Jeep. GeigerCars added on a net set of alloy wheels to their featured supercharged model in a large 10.0 x 22 setup with 305.35 R22 tires. To complete the project, the featured Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT was given a custom brown wrap with black graphics and logos.
The price for the total conversion by GeigerCars is 23,900 Euros on top of the standard 66,900 Euros for the standard Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. Buyers can also customize their SUV through GeigerCars as well.
