We’re thankful that we live in a world today with technology that allows us to have dashboard cameras to record incidents that happen with our vehicles. Prior to dash-cams, accidents and vandalism would have been much more difficult to prove fault in court. Now, people like this guy in London who decided to key an Aston Martin V8 Vantage can be caught and prosecuted.
During a walk, one man came across a parked Aston Martin V8 Vantage on Morning Lane in Hackney. Upon seeing the Aston Martin, the suspect apparently just couldn’t resist passing by without taking out a set of keys and scraping the paint off of the car with a child in the stroller.
According to the BBC, the Aston Martin received approximately $12,000 in damage from the incident. Police are currently searching for the suspect.
Update: A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to the Aston Martin.
