It’s looking like an electric winter.
Winter is supposed to be here, but for much of the northern hemisphere, it’s unseasonably warm. We’re not complaining because that means more time to enjoy nice cars, but some are gearing up for the snowy white stuff that’s right around the corner.
The Netherlands have been “victim” to the warm weather this December and the team at Baan Velgen is prepping for winter to finally hit with a few customers. In anticipation, a Tesla Model S P85 owner brought their car in for a new set of winter wheels that could handle the instant (and incredible) torque figures brought on by the electric car while also adding to the overall styling.
The customer ended up picking Vorsteiner’s V-FF 102 Flow Forged wheels for the Model S P85. The flow forged construction of the V-FF 102 wheels ensures a high-strength composition yet still keeps weight down for a perfect balance of durability and performance. The concave depth that each one of the V-FF 102 wheels displays also lends a powerful aesthetic to the Tesla.
For the Black Tesla Model S, the Baan Velgen team installed the new Vorsteiner V-FF 102 Flow Forged wheels in a 9.0 x 20 front and 10.0 x 20 rear setup with the latter boasting a deeper concave. The brand’s signature Carbon Graphite finish that perfectly complements the factory black paint. For the anticipated snow, new 255/40 R20 and 285/35 R20 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 tires were fitted for maximum traction in the slippery white stuff.
While winter has been held at bay by the warmer temperatures, this Tesla Model S P85 owner is ready to hit them head on with a full charge thanks to the new boots from Vorsteiner.
