Mansory Goes Platinum with the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe

Mansory Platinum Edition Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe

A true luxury rocket ship.

Mercedes-AMG has been crafting some pretty dynamic, high-performance luxury machines and the S63 Coupe sits at the top of the food chain. Its high-class opulence and hardcore dedication to sport make it a triple-digit luxury rocket ship. But, the team at Mansory has the Platinum Edition Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe and it makes its stock counterpart look rather boring.

The Mansory Platinum Edition Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe features a heavy German hammer hiding beneath its carbon fiber hood. The hand-built 5.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine was outfitted with new turbochargers, sports air filters, a new stainless steel exhaust with angular twin tailpipes, and a full software ECU tune. The result is a staggering 840 horsepower and 848 lb-ft. of torque. That’s good enough to send the coupe to 62 mph from rest in 3.5 seconds and to an electronically-limited top speed of 186 mph.

Blazing to triple-digit speeds with such ease requires a few new aerodynamic goodies to keep things under control. So, Mansory enlisted the help of their in-house carbon fiber autoclave and designed quite the aerodynamic upgrade package.

The Mansory Platinum Edition Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe features a new, more dynamic front fascia with large air intakes and integrated LED daytime running lights. A new carbon fiber hood with NACA inlets works with the new engine hardware to keep things cool.

The super car is more imposing as well thanks to newly extended front and rear fenders that widen the S63 Coupe by 50 mm. The new fenders are connected by sculpted side skirts while carbon fiber mirror housings sit above. At the rear, a new roof spoiler and trunk lip combo generates downforce as a diffuser-look rear bumper integrates the new exhaust tips.

Filling in the space beneath those massive fenders is a choice of either the Mansory Spyder or Multispoke alloy wheels that both measure 22 inches in diameter. For either set of wheels, Mansory uses Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 255/30 ZR22 and 295/25 ZR22 tires on the front and rear, respectively. For a flush stance, the entire ride height is lowered by 30 mm thanks to new Mansory sport springs.

Inside, customers can choose to create their own personal upholstery designs using various leather, alcantara, carbon fiber and more. A new steering wheel, aluminum pedals, leather-framed floor mats with the Mansory logo, and illuminated door sill trims can also be installed as a package or individually.

The new Mansory Platinum Edition Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe is currently available as a full conversion.
